| ObjectiveKnee osteoarthritis is one of the common diseases of the elderly,accompanied by the aging of the Chinese population,diet,the proportion of obesity changes,the increasing incidence of the elderly to reduce the quality of life,increase the social and economic burden.So how to use the traditional Chinese medicine treatment methods to improve patients living standards become a hot spot.This topic through randomized controlled research method,is to explore the extra-meridian acupoint thermal acupuncture for knee joiint pain,stiffness,swell ing,clinical efficacy,clinical use content to further improve extra-meridian a.cupoint provide new theoretical basis for clinical treatment of the disease,and enriched in the traditional Chinese medicine treatment of knee osteoarthritis,as well as the therapeutic effect of warm acupuncture by extra-meridian acupoint of foreign provide clinical evidence.MethodsThe study of patients from the Second Hospital of Guangdong Province,acupuncture and moxi bust ion clinics and rehabilitation ward,are in line with the criteria for inclusion of knee osteoarthritis,the collection of patients time:June 2016-February 2017.60 patients were randomly assigned to two groups.Treatment group(30 cases)for the extra-meridian acupoint thermal acupuncture,the control group(30 cases)as the conventional warm acupuncture acupoints.Treatment time:1/day,1 course of treatment for 6 times/week,weekend rest 1 day,a total of 3 courses of treatment.Before and after treatment,the WOMAC index,Lequesne M G scale and VAS scale were scored.The data were collected before and after treatment.The data collected were analyzed by SPSS 22.0 statistical software.ResultsTemperature treatment before the extra-meridian acupoint acupuncture group,the conventional warm acupuncture acupoints group of gender,age,course and grade of X-ray data through statistical analysis,P>0.05,show no significant difference,two groups of patient.s before treatment of general data comparable.Before the treatment,two groups of comparison,Lequesne-Mery score,VAS scale,WOMAC osteoarthritis index points,according to P>0.05,shows that two groups of patients with comparability;After treatment,the Lequesne-Mery score,VAS scale,WOMAC scale to assess the indicators,the indicators show that two groups of patients have improved significantly(P<0.05);Comparison between groups:acupuncture group,the extra—meridian acupoint thermal acupuncture the normal temperature acupuncture acupoints group decreased significantly(P<0.05),the two kinds of therapy can effectively improve the clinical symptoms,including the extra-meridian acupoint thermal acupuncture group is better than that of meridian group in improving clinical symptoms.Therapeutic effect by the rank and inspection comparison of two groups of patients(P<0.05),of which the acupuncture treatment group by The extra-meridian acupoint thermal acupuncture effective above have 29 people,the total effective rate was 96.7%;Control group there are 26 people over the conventional warm acupuncture acupoints in effective,the total effective rate was 86.7%.Two group total effective rate were significant by statistical analysis(P<0.05),in conclusion:for the treatment of knee osteoarthritis,The extra-meridian acupoint thermal acupuncture curative effect is superior to the conventional temperature acupuncture acupoints.ConclusionThe extra-meridian acupoint thermal acupuncture and conventional warm acupuncture acupoints can to a certain extent,improve the knee osteoarthritis clinical symptoms,but the clinical curative effect of the former is superior to the latter.The extra-meridian acupoint thermal acupuncture for the treatment of knee osteoarthritis,not only has the effect of acupuncture and moxibustion,more outstanding by the extra-meridian acupoint thermal acupuncture of significant effect,function relatively specific features,and the study treatment method is relatively simple,take effect quickly and has high clinical curative effect,have applied to clinical value. |
