The Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Post-stroke Depression With "Frontal-three-needle"

Objective: The study was intend to observe the clinical efficacy and the improvement of depression symptoms in patients with post-stroke depression treated with "frontal-three-needle" and common acupuncture control group,and explore the clinical significance and value of " frontal-three-needle " in treating post-stroke depression.To improve new treatment thoughts and methods for acupuncture and moxibustion treatment of depression after stroke.Method: 60 cases of patients with post-stroke depression were selected as the subjects,which were randomly assigned according to the order of treatment into two groups: the treatment group and control group,and the number of each group was 30 cases.Both groups of patients were treated with the same basic method.the treatment group was treated with " frontal-three-needle " treatment,which the control group was treated with conventional acupuncture treatment.The two group patients were daily acupuncture 1 time,10 times for a course.The Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD)score and the National Institutes of Health(NIHSS)score was scored before the treatment and after 2 courses and 4 courses.Finally,the obtained data are analyzed statistically.Result:(1)After analysis,the two groups of patients in gender,age,and duration and other aspects were the same that the difference is not statistically significant,(P>0.05),It is indicatied the two groups of patients in gender,age,and duration are comparable.(2)The two groups of cases were compared within the group: the HAMD scale score and NIHSS scale score of the two groups of patients were significantly decreased after 2 treatment and 4 treatment courses and before,the difference is statistically significant(P<0.05).The two groups of cases were compared Inter group: after 2 treatment sessions,compared with HAMD scale scores of the treatment group and the control group,the difference between the two groups was not statistically significant(P>0.05),and after 4 treatment courses,compared with HAMD scale scores of the treatment group and the control group,the HAMD score of treatment group was lower than that of control group(P<0.05).The results showed that "frontal-three-needle" acupuncture group to improve depression symptoms was better than conventional acupuncture group in the treatment of four treatments.After 2 treatment sessions and 4 treatment sessions,the NIHSS score of treatment group was lower than that of control group.The results showed that "frontal-three-needle" acupuncture group was better than conventional acupuncture group in the improvement of the patients with neurological defects.(P<0.05).(3)The results of repeated measurement variance analysis showed that the HAMD score and NIHSS score of the two groups of patients were significantly different in the treatment course effect,treatment course and treatment interaction effect(P<0.05),indicating that the longer the treatment period,the more significant the effect of the "frontal-three-needle" therapy.(4)At the end of four sessions,93.3 % of the treatment group was more effective than 80 % of the control group,and the difference is statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:(1)The clinical symptoms of post-stroke depression and neurological defects can be improved by "frontal-three-needle" therapy and conventional acupuncture.(2)The total efficiency of "frontal-three-needle" acupuncture therapy is better than that of conventional acupuncture therapy.(3)The longer the course of treatment,the more significant the effect of "frontal-three-needle" acupuncture therapy is compared with conventional acupuncture in improving the symptoms of depression and neurological dysfunction after stroke.
