Objective:This paper describes the current situation of the transition shock impact of the new obstetrical nurses, analyzes the problems existing in the transition process and the factors that may affect the smooth transformation of the new nurses,so as to provide guidance to improve the adaptability of the roles of the new obstetrical nurses and promote the smooth transformation of new nurses in obstetrics. The relationship between the character of DISC and the impact of transition was also discussed in order to provide some guidance for the construction of obstetrical nursing team and the cultivation of talents. Methods:Taking the new obstetrical nurses who work within one year in Jiangxi Province as the research object, the general situation questionnaire and the new nurse transformation impact evaluation scale were used to investigate the present situation and influencing factors of the role transformation impact of the new obstetrical nurses. The personality characteristics of new nurses were investigated by DISC personality test table, and the relationship between DISC and the impact of DISC on the transformation of new obstetrical nurses was discussed. The valid data collected were analyzed by SPSS 17.0 statistical software.Among them, frequency, rate, mean±standard deviation(x ±S)were used to describe the general data of the subjects surveyed, and the DISC personality score was used.T-test or ANOVA was used in univariate analysis, and multivariate stepwise regression analysis was used in multivariate analysis of influence on transition shock. The difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).Result:1.The total score of transition shock of newly admitted obstetrical nurses was(99.98±19.16),standardized score was 74.06%.The score of physical aspect was(24.75±4.38),the score of psychological aspect was(29.93±6.28),the scores of knowledge and skills was(18.44±4.12),and the scores of social and culturaldevelopment was(26.79±7.75);2.Univariate analysis of variance showed that the differences of transformation shock of new obstetrical nurses in working hours, educational level, employment mode, only child or not,the degree of liking to the department, whether the family supported were significant(P < 0.05).3.Multiple stepwise linear regression analysis: taking the total score of the transition impact of new obstetrical nurses as dependent variables, the working time, educational level, employment mode, only child or not,and the degree of liking to the department,Family support and DISC personality as dependent variables to multiple stepwise regression analysis, and finally included four variables: working time, educational level, whether there is compilation and DISC personality.4.The scores of different types of personality characteristics were: The score of Dominance-type was(112.78±24.15),the score of Influence-type was(93.58±19.01),the score of Steady-type was(97.53±18.82)and the score of Compliance-type was(107.74±14.12).The total score of transition shock of new nurses in Dominance-type and Compliance-type was significantly different from that in Steady-type(P < 0.05).and showed in psychology, knowledge and skills,as well as social culture and development.but in the physical aspect, only the Dominance-type and Steady-type have the statistical significance(P < 0.05).Conclusion:1.The impact of the transformation of the new nurses in obstetrics is at the middle level, and the highest score is in physical aspect, followed by psychological aspect, knowledge and skill aspect and sociocultural and technical aspects.2.Working hours, educational level and whether there is compilation are the influencing factors of the impact of the transformation of new obstetrical nurses.Nursing managers should adopt corresponding programs to help them survive the impact of transformation according to the different factors of new nurses in obstetrics.;3.DISC personality characteristics also have an impact on the transformation of new obstetrical nurses. When helping new obstetrical nurses cope with the impact of the transformation, they should also fully consider the inherent characteristics of theindividual personality to provide appropriate training, and arrange tasks according to the personality of different characters to provide guidance for the construction and development of obstetrical nursing team.
