Therapeutic Effect Of Acupoint Embedding Combined With Drugs For Migraine Without Aura Prophylaxis

Objective:To investigate the effects of acupoint catgut embedding combined with drugs compared with acupoint catgut embedding and drugs for migraine prophylaxis.Getting a better treatment in this way and providing reference for clinical migraine prophylaxis.Methods:This study used a randomized controlled trial.A total of 150 eligible patients were recruited and were randomly assigned at a 1:1:1 ratio to receive A group(Acupoint catgut embedding combined drug)or B group(Acupoint catgut embedding),or to be C group(Metoprolol),35 people in each group.A group fell off 1 person and B group fell off 2 people.Acupoint catgut embedding scheme:Selecting the patient's bilateral GB20,keeping the tip of the needle at a 75 degree angle to the skin,pointing the needle tip toward the mandible and piercing the needle into the 3cm.Once every two weeks,3 times for a course of treatment,treatment of a course.Drug plan:Taking metoprolol 12.5 mg twice daily for 12 weeks.The frequency of migraine attacks,the time of pain,the degree of pain,the accompanying sy.mptoms and the comprehensive score before the start of treatment,1 month after the treatment,and 4 months after the treatment were collected.The quality of life score and mental psychological score of the patient before the start of treatment and 1 month after the treatment were collected.Headache frequency is the main observation index.Compareing the changes in headache scores after three treatments,Observing the difference in long-term efficacy,analyzing possible causes and recording adverse reactions during treatment.Results:1 Efficacy:Follow-up in the fourth month after starting treatment:The total effective rate of group A was 97.06%,group B was 78.79%,and group C was 71.43%.There was no significant difference in the efficacy between the acupoint embedding group and the drug group(P>0.05),the acupoint embedding combined drug group was superior to the acupoint embedding group(P<0.05),which was significantly better than the drug group(P<0.01).2?Main observation index:Headache frequency:One month after the start of treatment,the indexes of group A(acupoint embedding combined with drugs),group B(acupoint embedding group)and group C(drug group)were lower than those before treatment(P<0.05).Obviously better than group C(P<0.01).At the follow-up of 4 months after the start of treatment,the indicators in group A and group B were still lower than before treatment(P<0.05).The number of headache attacks in group C was repeated,and there was no difference compared with before treatment(P=0.587).Compared with the first month after the start of treatment,the indicators in group B and group C increased,but there was no significant difference in group A(P>0.05).3?Secondary observation index:(1)Headache duration:One month after the start of treatment,the pain time of group A7 group B and group C was shorter than that before treatment(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the three groups(P>0.05).At the 4 months follow-up after starting treatment,there was no significant difference in the three groups(P>0.05).The index was still lower than before treatment,and it was repeated compared with one month after the start of treatment.(2)VAS score?Comprehensive score:One month after the start of treatment,the three groups was improved compared with that before treatment(P<0.05).The improvement degree was better in group A than in group C(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference between group B and group C(P>0.05).At the 4 months follow-up after the start of treatment,the three groups of indicators were still lower than before treatment(P<0.05).Compared with the first month after the start of treatment,the indicators in group B and group C were repeated,and there was no significant difference in group A(P>0.05).(3)Quality of life,mental psychology:One month after the start of treatment,the indicators of the three groups were improved compared with those before treatment.There was no difference in the degree of improvement between the three groups in terms of anxiety(P>0.05).In terms of depression,group A was significantly better than group C(P<0.01),and group A and group B had no difference(P>0.05).In terms of functional limitations,group A was better than group B and group C(P<0.05).In terms of dysfunction,group A was significantly better than group C(P<0.01),and group A and group B had no difference(P>0.05).In terms of emotion,group A was significantly better than group C(P<0.01).Conclusion:Acupoint embedding combined with drugs,simple acupoint embedding and simple drugs are effective in reducing the frequency of headache attacks,improving pain,depression,quality of life and reducing headache scores in Migraine without aura patients.There was no difference in the three treatments in terms of improving headache duration and anxiety.Acupoint embedding combined with drugs is superior to the drug group in reducing the number of headache attacks,pain levels and improving patients' quality of life and depression.At the same time,in terms of long-term efficacy,it is more advantageous than simple acupoint embedding and simple drugs.
