Objective: Based on the theory of information search behavior, this paper analyzes the impact of single subject factors on the seeking behavior of online health information, and explores the interaction effects of multiple subject factors on the online health information seeking behavior. The results can deepen the research on network health information search behavior, and provide support for network health platform developers to deeply understand user needs, characteristics and behavioral performance. Methods: Through the literature research, the expert questionnaire of the influence of subject factors on the seeking behavior of online health information is designed.9 experts are interviewed and the interview result helps determine the subject factor indicators and online health information seeking behavior indicators based on the results of the questionnaire.Using the questionnaire survey method, simulation experiment method and interview method, this research selects the mosaic graphic test scale, the Big Five Personality Scale Simplified Edition(NEO-FFI)and the social support rating scale to obtain the user subject factors.Thenthis research uses screen recording software to record the online health information seeking behavior data of different task types and task situations in the user simulation experiment environment.Statistical analysis is performed on the acquired data via SPSS 24.0.This research mainly discussesthe influence of demographic factors, health status, personality traits, cognitive style and social support on the online health information seeking behavior. Moreover, the online health information seeking behavior is divided into four dimensions: task time, seeking strategy, seeking result processing and seeking performance satisfaction evaluation.Based on this, this research analyzes the interactive influence of subjective factors after dimension reduction onthe seeking behavior of online health information. Results: A single subject factor has a certain impact on the online health information seeking behavior.Besides, multiple subject factors have an interactive impact on the online health information seeking behavior. The specific results are shown as follows:(1)In terms of demographic factors, the most significant impact is gender.Specifically, gender has a significant impact on some of the tasks of task time, seeking strategy and seeking result processing dimension, which is characterized by short time spent by men, simple seeking strategy, and small number of pages.Age has a significant impact on some of the metrics of the seeking result processing dimension of the task completion time, factual and exploratory tasks, and the satisfaction evaluation of the entire seeking process. And the youner age leads to shorter task time, fewer open pages and better satisfaction. The degree of education also has strong impact on the seeking strategy of task time, factual and exploratory tasks, and the seeking results processing dimension. The higher the level of education, the longer the task takes, and the more pages are searched.Major has an impressivet impact on the task time, seeking strategy, and seeking results processing dimensions of the interpreted tasks, and non-medical related professional users spend less time and fewer pages.(2)Health status has a great impact on the task time, seeking result processing and seeking satisfaction evaluation dimension indicators, and the worse the health status is the more time is spent, the more pages are open. However, the satisfaction evaluation is poor.(3)In terms of personality traits, except for the agreeableness sub-dimensions,the other four sub-dimensions have different levels of influence on the online health information seeking behavior.Among them, neuroticism, extraversion, openness and conscientiousness have significant influence on some indicators of task time, seeking strategy and seeking result processing dimension.Neuroticism and conscientiousness are positively correlated with behavioral indicators.Extraversion and openness are negatively correlated with behavioral indicators.Agreeableness mainly affects the completion time of exploratory tasks and is negatively correlated.(4)As for cognitive style, there are significant influences on some behavioral indicators in the three dimensions of online health infeomation seeking behavior, which are task time, seeking strategy and seeking result processing.Field-independent users spend less time completing search tasks and fewer pages.(5)Considering social support, the subjective experience of support is significantly related to the seeking strategy, seeking result processing, and seeking performance satisfaction evaluation dimension. Objective support and the use of support are significantly related to the seeking strategy and the seeking results processing dimension.(6)In terms of the interaction of subject factors, according to the results of factor analysis, subject factors can be divided into age*education*conscientiousness, extraversion*agreeableness, gender*major, neuroticism*cognitive style, health status* openness, which have different effects on task time, seeking strategy, seeking result processing and seeking satisfaction evaluation. Conclusion: The single subject factor has influence in four dimensions of online health information seeking behavior, which includes the task time, seeking strategy, seeking result processing and seeking performance satisfaction evaluation. The five main factor comprehensive indicators obtained by dimensionality reduction have different levels of interaction effects on online health information seeking behavior. Moreover, its specific mechanism of action has mutually reinforcing effects or mutual restraining effects.
