Objective1.To explore the clinical effect of brainwave vibroacoustic therapy for stroke patients with cognitive disoreders.2.To explore the mechanism of brainwave vibroacoustic therapy to promote the improvement of cognitive function.MethodsFrom January 2016 to July 2017,Seventy stable stroke patients with cognitive disoreders who were hospitalized in the rehabilitation department of our hospital were randomly divided into treatment group and control group having 35 cases in each group.The patients in the control group were treated with routine cognitive rehabilitation and trained for 60 minutes.The patients in the treatment group were treated with HB-760 type brainwave vibroacoustic relaxation system on the basis of routine cognitive rehabilitation training.The two groups had the same routine cognitive rehabilitation training.The treatment group selected the specific music from the system to stimulate the learning potential twice a day,15 minutes each time and for 6 weeks.Each patient was assessed with Mini-mental State Examination(MMSE),the Montreal Cognitive Assessment(MOCA),Loewenstein Occupational Therapy Cognitive Asessment(LOTCA)and Modified Barthel Index(MBI)to assess the cognitive function and the Ability of Life(ADL)before and after the six weeks of treament.ResultsIn this experiment,5 patients from 70 cases of patients dropped out of the experiment due to personal factors including the control group of 4 cases and the treatment group of 1 case,The remaining 65 patients successfully got rehabilitation therapy in six weeks.Before the treatment,two groups of patients of MMSE,MOCA,LOTCA had no statistically significant difference(P>0.05).After six weeks,two groups of patients with MMSE,MOCA,LOTCA,MBI scores were significantly higher than before(P<0.05),The scores of MMSE,MOCA,LOTCA and MBI in the treatment group were significantly higher than that in the control group(23.50±212vs21.94±2.73,23.94± 2.31vs22.26±2.92,84.21 ± 3.20vs75.58± 3.60,80.21±3.20vs74.58±3.60,P<0.05).The results of each subitem score of MOCA scale showed that the treatment group had higher level of visual space and executive function,attention,abstract generalization ability,and delayed memory score than the control group(3.85± 1.16vs3.23± 1.15,5.18 ±1.11 vs4.52±1.26,P<0.05),2.29±0.87vs1.58±0.72,3.56±0.93vs2.90±1.25,P<0.001).Conclusion1.Conventional cognitive rehabilitation can improve cognitive function and daily activity ability of patients with stroke.2.Compared with conventional cognitive rehabilitation,the combination of music relaxation system can further improve cognitive function and daily life activity in patients with cognitive disoreders.3.Brainwave vibroacoustic therapy is more effective in improving visual space and performing function,attention,abstract generalization ability and memory.
