Objective:In this study,we observed the effect of abdominal acupuncture combined with cognitive rehabilitationtraining in the treatment of post-stroke mild cognitive impairment(MCI)and explored the theoretical basis of abdominal acupuncture therapy for MCI.It aims to provide objective basis for popularizing the application of abdominal acupuncture therapy. Methods: Sixty patients with MCI who met the requirements of this study were randomly average divided into two groups. They were observation group and control group. On the basis of routine treatment of neurology, the observation group was treated with abdominal acupuncture combined with cognitive rehabilitation training. The control group was only given cognitive rehabilitation training.Using the mini-mental state examination(MMSE),the Montreal Cognitive Assessment(Mo CA),and the activity of daily living(ADL)scale as evaluations indexes, all selected patients were scored before and after therapy to evaluate the clinical efficacy of the abdominal acupuncture combined with cognitive rehabilitationtraining in the treatment of post-stroke MCI.At the same time, the safety of the two treatment schemes was observed.Results:1.Baseline comparison: There was no statistical significance(P>0.05)in the baseline data of age, course of disease?sex ratio and stroke pattern,MMSE score,Mo CA score,ADL score, etc between the two groups before treatment. They were comparable.2.Curative effect comparison:(1)After treatment, the total score and some subitems of MMSE in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The total score of MMSE and the four subitems of immediate memory, recall, calculation, attention and drawing in the observation group were better than those in the control group(P<0.05).The difference of MMSE between the two groups before and after treatment was also statistically significant(P<0.05);(2)The total score of Mo CA in the two groups after treatment was also significant(P<0.05);(2)The total score of Mo The total score of Mo CA,attention, visual space and execution ability, delayed memory and naming in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05);the difference of Mo CA between the two groups before and after treatment was also statistically significant(P<0.05);and the ADL scores of the two groups after treatment were also significantly higher(P<0.05);(3)The ADL scores of the two groups after treatment were compared. The ADL score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Except for occasional slight subcutaneous congestion due to acupuncture, there were no significant adverse reactions in the treatment of both groupsConclusion:Abdominal acupuncture combined with cognitive rehabilitation training can effectively improve post-stroke MCI.The therapy is operability, safe and reliable. In addition it has no obvious adverse reactions. It is worthy of clinical application.
