Botrychium ternatum?Thunb?Sw.is a folk herbal medicine.It is used internally in traditional Chinese medicine for the treatment of fever,cough,dysentery,furuncle,carbuncle,snake bites,ocular obstruction and so on.It is reported that the whole plant of B.ternatum contains medicinal ingredients such as Pteridium vulgaris and luteolin.However,the effective components of B.ternatum have not yet fully clarified.In this thesis,the chemical composition and biological activity of B.ternatum were studied.The main results are as follows:1.Contents analysis and antioxidant activity of flavonoids and phenolic acids in ethanol extracts from different parts of B.ternatum.The plant materials extracted with75%ethanol and determined the extraction rate.Using rutin and gallic acid as the standard,the content of flavonoids and phenolic acid in different parts of B.ternatum was determined by spectrophotometry.The DPPH,ABTS free radical scavenging ability and reducing ability were determined in different parts of B.ternatum by spectrophotometry.The results showed that the extraction rate of all parts of B.ternatum was more than 20%.The maximum extraction rate was 44.6%in the aerial part of B.ternatum.The contents of total flavonoids and phenolic acids in different parts of B.ternatum were somewhat different.Aerial part of B.ternatum had more contents.The DPPH free radical scavenging ability in the aerial part were higher.The ABTS free radical scavenging ability in the subterranean part were higher.The two parts have the same reducing ability to Fe.2.Contents Analysis and biological activity of crude polysaccharide in extracts from B.ternatum.The crude polysaccharides of B.ternatum were extracted by decoction,concentration and ethanol extraction,and the extraction rate was calculated.The content of polysaccharide and Protein of B.ternatum,the antioxidant activity,the antibacterial activity and the anticancer activity were determined.The extraction rate of polysaccharide was 20.6%.The content of polysaccharide is five times that of protein.The study of antioxidant activity showed that the crude polysaccharide has the scavenging ability for DPPH and ABTS free radical,and the ABST free radical scavenging ability was higher.The study of antibacterial activity showed that it has the antibacterial activity for E coli.and S.aureus.,and the antibacterial activity for E coli.was higher.The study of anticancer activity showed that it has the anticancer activity for Hela?human cervical cancer cells?and A-549?human lung cancer cells?,and the anticancer activity for A-549 was higher.3.The extraction and biological activity of different organic phases from B.ternatum.The plant materials extracted with petroleum ether?PE?,Ethyl acetate?EtOAc?and dichloromethane of B.ternatum.The study of antioxidant activity showed that the scavenging ability of DPPH,ABTS+free radical in the EtOAc were higher than PE.The antibacterial activity study showed that the PE and EtOAc had inhibitory effects on E.coli and S.aureus.The two parts of extractives were more sensitive to E.coli and the PE is better than EtOAc.The study of anticancer activity showed that the PE and EtOAc had inhibitory effects on Hela and A-549.In the high concentrations?320?g/mL?of PE,the inhibitory effects on A-549 was the best.4.Isolation and structural identification of chemical constituents of B.ternatum.Utilize silica gel column segmentation,MCI resin removal of pigment,MPFC separation,TLC separation and preliminary detection,recrystallization purification and other methods isolated from the PE,EtOAc and dichloromethane part of B.ternatum.The 11 monomer compounds were isolated,and the 10 of them were determined.The structures of 9 compounds were identified by 1H-NMR,13C-NMR,2D-spectrum,and mass spectrometry methods.The 7 of them were the first isolated from B.ternatum.,including hopane-22,29-diolmonoacetate,neoabietic acid,2',3'-dihydroxy propylpentadecanoate,docosanoic acid oxiranylmethyl ester,p-hydroxybenzoic acid,benzerietridecanoic acid and YDJ1?Structure to be determined?.This article has certain guiding significance to clarifying active components for B.ternatum,elucidating its medicinal value and further development and utilization.
