Birth defect?BD?refers to abnormal metabolism of structure or function of embryo or fetus during development. The survival rate of newborn babies is increasing year by year in China, which may be related to the improvement of prenatal screening and diagnosis level, but the rising rate of birth defects brings greater challenges to the prevention and control of birth defects.ObjectiveBy analyzing the correlation between birth defects,NT value and serological indexes, this study studied the prevention and control measures of birth defects to improve the quality of the population.Material and methodsFrom September 2016 to November 2018,639 cases of birth defects in the third affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University were randomly divided into birth defect case group?213 cases?and control group?426 cases of term delivery?.According to the type of birth defects,92 cases of congenital heart disease?CHD?group,68 cases of neural tube defect?NTD?group,53 cases of other defects group. There were 135cases of antenatal diagnosis and 78 cases of non-antenatal diagnosis in the case group, including 111 cases of normal chromosome karyotype and 24 cases of abnormal chromosome karyotype in chromosome disease group. The definition standard of birth defect child refers to the Manual of birth defect Detection in China.Matched according to the ratio of case:control=1:2.Through the hospital perioperative medical clinic, inpatient medical records,Down's screening laboratory, ultrasound clinic,"birth defect child registration card"to find the fetus, pregnant women information and research data, fill in the birth defect information registration form. The research data were analyzed by SPSS21.0.Results1.There was significant difference in NT corrected MOM between CHD group, chromosome disease group and control group?P<0 05?.NT value was positively correlated with the occurrence of congenital heart disease?CHD?and chromosome disease?P<0 05?.2.In the serological screening case group,the?-hCG-corrected MOM,neural tube defect group and control group AFP corrected MOM and congenital heart disease group and control group uE3 corrected MOM were statistically significant?P<0.05?.The level of?-hCG was positively correlated with the occurrence of chromosomal disease. The level of AFP was positively correlated with the occurrence of neural tube defects, and the level of uE3 was negatively correlated with the occurrence of congenital heart disease.3.The levels of folic acid, vitamin B12 and homocysteine in the patients with congenital heart disease and neural tube defects were significantly different from those in the control group?P<0.05?.Folic acid and vitamin B12 levels were negatively correlated with congenital heart disease and neural tube defects. The level of homocysteine was positively correlated with the occurrence of congenital heart disease and neural tube defects.4.There was significant difference in vitamin A level between neural tube defect group and control group?P<0.05?,but there was no significant difference in vitamin E level between the two groups?P>0.05?.There was significant difference in vitamin D level between the CHD group and the control group?P<0.05?.Vitamin A levels were positively correlated with neural tube defects.Vitamin D was negatively correlated with the occurrence of congenital heart disease.5.There was a significant difference in zinc level between the neural tube defect group and the control group?P<0.05?,and there was a significant difference in the iron level between the congenital heart disease group and the control group in the case group?P<0.05?.There was no significant difference in the level of other elements between the case group and the control group?P>0.05?.Zinc level was negatively correlated with neural tube defect, while iron level was negatively correlated with congenital heart disease.6.The rate of induced labor and cesarean section in the case group were significantly different from those in the control group?P<0.05?.There was significant difference in neonatal mortality between the two groups?P<0.05?.Conclusions1.NT ultrasound examination and serological examination are important indexes of birth defect screening and are effective means of prenatal screening.2.Vitamin A level and zinc level are related to the occurrence of neural tube defects.Vitamin D level and iron level are related to the occurrence of congenital heart disease.Folic acid levels, vitamin B 12 levels and homocysteine were associated with neural tube defects and congenital heart disease.
