ObjectiveComparing the curative effect of acupuncture(q in zhen)therapy and aur icular point pressing bean therapy on pain caused by cervical spondylotic radiculopathy, including analgesic effect,re Iieving symptoms? To seek an effective and optimized treatment scheme for the clinical treatment of this disease, find a traditional Chinese medicine characteriStic method which can a I leviate the pain and have remarkable curative effect for the patients, and give fu11 play to the advantages and role of traditional Chinese medicine characteristic nursing technology?MethodsSeventy patients with cervical spondylotic radiculopathy were selected from the spine clinic of Zhongshan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine affiliated to Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese MedicineoThe patients were randomly grouped according to the random number table method? On the basis of routine treatment and nursing, the treatment group was treated with the acupuncture(qinzhen)therapy, while the control group was treated with auricular point pressing bean therapy?Data were collected according to the JOA scoring table and the simplified McGill scale for pain? All data were processed using statistical software SPSS 20.0 to complete the statistical task?Results1.From June to December 2017,patients were diagnosed as cervical spondylotic radicular disease in the spine Department of Zhongshan Hospital of Traditional Chinese MedicineoStrict compliance with inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria, finally,a total of 65 patients with cervical spondylotic radicular disease were included in the clinical study? The average age of the patients was 46.54+17.11 years?Among them, there were 28 men and 37 women, and the ratio between men and women was about 5:7?2.In the treatment group and the control group, two groups of patients were compared in sex(P=0.694),age composition(P=0.870),course age(P=0.660),long termlow head(P=0.524),and cultural degree(P=0.966)?The results were all P>0.05,the difference was not significant,so the two groups were comparable?3.On the comparison of McGill pain scale,VAS?PRI and PPI of the two groups before treatment, the results were P=0.477>0.05;P=0.197>0.05;P=0.856>0.05?There was no significant difference between the two groups?on the 7th day after treatment, there were significant differences in the scores of VAS.PRI and PPI between the two groups(P<0.01)?Therefore,both press needle therapy and ear acupo i nt bean therapy can alleviate the pain of cervical spondylotic radiculopathyoThere was no significant difference in pain scores between the two groups on the 3rd day after treatment(P>0.05),and there was significant difference in VAS,PRI and PPI scores between the two groups on the 7th day after treatment(P=0.020<0.05;P=0.009<0.05;P=0.031<0.05)?Therefore,one week after treatment, the degree of pain relief in patients with cervical spondylotic radiculopathy treated with press needle therapy is more obvious than that of ear acupoint bean treatment?4.In the JOA scale comparison, according to the two groups of patients before treatment,JOA Scale total score comparison P=0.504>0.05,indicating that there was no significant difference between the two groups before treatment with comparability? There were significant differences in the total scores of JOA between the two groups before treatment and on the 3rd and 7th day after treatment(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference in the total scores of JOA between the treatment group and the experimental group on the 3rd day after treatment(P>0.05),and there was significant difference in the total scores of JOA between the two groups on the 7th day after treatment(P<0.05)?The average effective rate of the treatment group was 55%before and after treatment, and the average effective rate of the control group was 39%?So it is considered that the improvement of the JOA score of the needle therapy is more obvious than that of the ear acupuncture group?ConclusionIn the treatment of nerve root neck disease, the press needle therapy and the ear acupoint bean treatment can play a certain role in alleviating pain and improving numbness, but after 7 days of treatment, the press needle therapy can be better than the ear acupoint bean treatment?...
