Objective:To understand the status of social demographic characteristics,mobile phone dependence,ego-resiliency and depression of primary school students;Analyze the difference of primary school students' mobile phone dependence,ego-resiliency and depression in general demographic characteristics;Examine the relationships among mobile phone dependence,ego-resiliency and depression;Explore the influence of mobile phone dependence and ego-resiliency on depression.Methods:This study was a cross-sectional correlational study using random sampling to 397 primary school students of grade 5 and 6 from different schools in Yanji City.The questionnaire used in the study included Self-rating Questionnaire with social demographic characteristics,Self rating Questionnaire for Adolescent Problematic Mobile Phone Use,Ego-Resiliency Scale,he Multidimensional Anxiety Scale for Children and Center for Epidemiological Survey-Depression Scale.In this study,applied SPSS20.0 statistical software to organize the data,using percentage,mean,standard deviation,t-test,AVOVA,Pearson correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis to analyze the data.Results:(1)The score for mobile phone dependence of upper graders of the primary school in Yanji City was(19.49+5.97),and the score was at low level.The-resiliency score was(88.33+12.65),and the general level is high.The anxiety score was(43.73+17.32),the depression score was(18.70+5.76),and the scores were at low level.(2)T-test and one-way ANOVA showed that the social demographic information of upper graders of the primary school'school,nationality,domestic economy,living conditions,interpersonal relationship(between family members,classmates,teachers),evaluation of body image,academic record and overall in school,mobile phone play time,keep on mobile phone gets online time in weekend may affect the depression level(P<0.05).(3)Relevant analysis showed that the upper graders of the primary school'mobile phone dependence was significantly negatively correlated with ego-resiliency,but positively correlated with anxiety and depression(P<0.05).Ego-resiliency was negatively correlated with anxiety and depression(P<0.05).(4)Multiple regression analysis showed that the upper graders of the primary school' nationality,interpersonal relationship between family members and classmates,mobile phone dependence,ego-resiliency and anxiety were the main factors affecting depression,which in total explained 38.9%of the variance.Conclusion:(1)The rate of upper graders of the primary school'anxiety and depression level were low level,but the depressive tendency was high level,it is necessary to pay for more attention to improve the mental health status.Upper graders of the primary school' depression had significant difference in the variables of school,nationality,domestic economy,living conditions,interpersonal relationship,self-evaluation,mobile phone usage.(2)The mobile phone dependence of upper graders of the primary school was low level.Mobile phone dependence had significant difference in the variables of school,living conditions,interpersonal relationship,self-evaluation,mobile phone usage.(3)The ego-resiliency level in upper graders of the primary school was in upper level.Ego-resiliency had significant difference in the variables of school,gender,nationality,domestic economy,living conditions,interpersonal relationship,self-evaluation,mobile phone usage.(4)The upper graders of the primary school who had higher the level of mobile phone dependence,lower level of ego-resiliency,was in a anxiety and depression emotion,and had a worse mental health status.(5)The variables of interpersonal relationship between senior family members and classmates,mobile phone dependence,ego-resiliency and anxiety has a significantly influence on depression.
