Self-management Of Maintenance Hemodialysis Patients And Its Influencing Factors

Objective: To study the maintenance of hemodialysis patients.Questionnaires were conducted on dialysis patients to explore the effects of different demographic characteristics and disease-related factors on patient self-management.Provide a basis for developing targeted nursing interventions and improving patient self-management capabilities.Methods: This study used the method of questionnaire survey.A general data questionnaire for maintenance hemodialysis patients,a self-management behavior scale for hemodialysis patients,and Chronic Disease Self-Efficacy Scales were issued.Assess the patient's self-management and analyze its influencing factors.Statistical analysis and statistical analysis of the data were performed using Excel and SPSS 22.0.Differences between different variables were compared by independent sample t-test and one-way ANOVA.Pearson analysis was used to study the relationship between self-management and self-efficacy.Multiple linear regression analysis was used to explore the factors affecting patient self-management.Results:1.A total of 161 patients with maintenance hemodialysis were investigated.The total self-management score is(53.49±11.31),and the score range is 32-80 points.Self-management is at a medium level.2.The factors in the dimensions,total scores and univariate analysis of self-management were statistically significant(P<0.05):gender,age,education level,place for dialysis,and number of complications.3.Total score of self-efficacy(40.55±12.18),average score(6.76±2.03),at medium level.4.The two dimensions of self-efficacy,the total score and the self-management dimensions and total scores are positively correlated.The correlation coefficients are 0.339,0.373,0.223,0.367,and 0.461,respectively.5.Multiple linear regression analysis showed that gender,education level,age,place for dialysis,and self-efficacy were independent factors influencing self-management of hemodialysis patients.They indicated that the explanation rate of self-management behavior was 45.1%.Their contribution to the total score of self-management behavior scale for hemodialysis patients was in turn: self-efficacy,educational level,place for dialysis,gender.Conclusion:1.The self-management and self-efficacy of maintenance hemodialysis patients were at the middle level.Gender,place for dialysis,education level and self-efficacy are independent influencing factors of self-management in hemodialysis patients.2.Self-efficacy is positively correlated with all dimensions and total scores of self-management,and self-efficacy is in the middle level.3.The main influencing factors of self-management of hemodialysis patients are gender,place for dialysis,education level and self-efficacy.
