The Efficacy Of Four Different Treatments In Postmenopausal Atrophic Vaginitis

Objective: To compare the therapeutic efficacy of four different options for atrophic vaginitis.Methods: 120 cases of atrophic vaginitis in our department of gynecology from November 2016 to October 2018 were voluntarily enrolled.Patients,at the beginning,were randomly divided into four groups,which were group A(vaginal moisturiser without hormone:Weirun collagen vaginal gel),groupB(Honglilai estrogens cream),group C(Honglilai estrogens cream+herbal anti-inflammatory agent:Baofukang Froth)and group D(Weirun collagen vaginal gel+ Baofukang Froth).Among all the groups after the treatment of 12 weeks,we made a comparison.Result: There are significant differences in terms of changes in signs and symptoms,vaginal PH and VMI among the four groups(P <0.05).Plasma estrogen level,endometrial stripe and ultrasonic examination of breast condition show no obvious differences(P>0.05).Conclusion: For patients who is not willing to take estrogen therapy or with hormone-sensitive cancers,vaginal moisturisers and lubricants with no estrogen components can be an alternative choice.
