Data of the outpatients includingincidence, age and season were analyzed by Chi-square test.Results:①. 25.8% of the outpatients were positive for vaginitis.Positive result of various type of vaginitis were vulvovaginal candidiasis19.38%, bacterial vaginosis 4.48%, trichomonal vaginitis 1.93%.②. Detection rate of vulvovaginal candidiasis was deceasing year by year(P<0.05), while in autumn and winter was obviously higher than that inspring and summer (P<0.05). The age distribution of vulvovaginalcandidiasis were lower among the out-patients above 50 years comparedwith 20~50 years (P<0.05), but no significant differences between 20~50years and those at ages below 20 years (P>0.05).③. The rate of bacterialvaginosis were increasing year by year (P<0.05), and the lowest was inspring of a year (P<0.05). There was no differences in summer, autumnor winter(P>0.05). The age distribution of bacterial vaginosis were lowerabove 50 years compared with 20~50years (P<0.05). there were nosignificant differences between 20~50years and those at ages below 20years (P>0.05).④Detection rate of trichomonal vaginitis weredecreasing year by year (P<0.05), that the highest was in spring of a year(P<0.05). There was no differences in summer, autumn or winter(P>0.05). The age distribution of trichomonal vaginitis were higherabove 50 years compared with 20~50 years (P<0.05), there were nosignificant differences between 20~50 years and those at ages below 20years (P>0.05).Conelusion:①The incidence ofvulvovaginal candidiasis is thehighest in the vaginitis.②Vaginitis were prevalent in the child-bearingage of women.③Vaginitis seems to be related with change of season.
