Objective:To explore the clinical value of preoperative peripheral blood lymphocyte to monocyte ratio(LMR)and prognosis nutritional index(PNI)in the diagnosis of ovarian cancer,and provide a reference for early diagnosis of ovarian cancer.Methods:277 patients with ovarian cancer(malignant group)were first diagnosed by operation and pathology in gynecology department of Affiliated Hospital of Yanbian University from January 1,2007 to November 1,2018.174 patients with ovarian benign tumors(benign group)were randomly selected from January 1,2018 to November 1,2018,and 83 healthy women(healthy group)were treated in our hospital during the same period.The general data,blood routine(white blood cell count,neutrophil count,lymphocyte count,monocyte count,platelet)and albumin were recorded in each group within 1 week before operation.LMR and PNI were calculated by blood routine index and albumin index in liver function.The area under the curve(AUC)of each group was determined by ROC curve,and the diagnostic value of LMR,PNI and LMR combined with PNI for benign and malignant ovarian tumors was compared.Result:1.The white blood cells,neutrophils and monocytes in the malignant group and the benign group were larger than those in the healthy group(P<0.05).The albumin,PNI,lymphocytes and LMR in the malignant group and the benign group were smaller than those in the healthy group(P<0.05).2.PNI was positively correlated with LMR,lymphocyte count and albumin(P<0.05),and negatively correlated with neutrophils,monocytes and platelets(P<0.05).LMR was positively correlated with albumin and lymphocyte counts(P<0.05),negatively correlated with platelet,leukocyte,neutrophil count and monocyte count(P<0.05).3.The levels of white blood cells,platelets,neutrophils and monocytes decreased with the increase of PNI levels,while the levels of lympho-cytes,albumin,PNI increased with the increase of LMR levels.4.The levels of white blood cells,platelets,neutrophils and monocytes decreased with the increase of PNI levels,while the levels of albu-min,LMR and lymphocytes increased with the increase of PNI levels.5.White blood cells are risk factors for ovarian cancer,and LMR and PNI are protective factors for ovarian cancer.6'The AUC of LMR for the diagnosis of benign ovarian tumors was 0.609(P<0.05),the AUC of ovarian cancer was 0.674(P<0.05),indica-ting that LMR has diagnostic value for benign and malignant ovarian tumors,with statistical significance(P<0.05).7.The AUC of PNI for the diagnosis of benign ovarian tumors was 0.629(P<0.05),the AUC of ovarian cancer was 0.855(P<0.05),indica-ting that PNI has diagnostic value for benign and malignant ovarian tumors,with statistical significance(P<0.05).8.LMR combined with PNI for the diagnosis of ovarian benign tumors had an AUC of 0.692(P<0.05).The AUC of ovarian cancer was 0.776(P<0.05),indicating that PNI has diagnostic value for benign and malignant ovarian tumors,which is statistically significant(P<0.05).9.The AUC of LMR combined with PNI was the highest in benign ovarian tumors,indicating that the diagnostic value of LMR combined with PNI in benign tumors is higher than that of LMR and PNI alone.The AUC of ovarian cancer PNI is higher than the AUC of LMR and LMR combined with PNI diagnosis,indicating ovarian cancer,the diagnostic value of PNI is higher than LMR and LMR combined with PNI diagnosis.10.PNI for the diagnosis of benign and malignant tumors The area under the two curves of AUC was statistically tested,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).LMR and LMR combined with PNI for the diagnosis of benign and malignant tumors.The area under the two curves of AUC was statistically tested,and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion:1.LMR,PNI and LMR combined with PNI have diagnostic value for begin ovarian tumors and ovarian cancer.2.The diagnostic value of PNI for ovarian cancer is higher than that of ovarian benign tumor.
