A Randomized Controlled Clinical Trial On The Treatment Of Facial Paralysis During Convalescence By Penetrate Acupuncture

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of penetrating acupuncture in the treatment of patients with facial paralysis in convalescence.Methods:Will match the inclusion criteria of 80 cases of patients with facial paralysis recovery,using the method of random Numbers table according to the medical order is separate into therapeutic group40 cases and control group 40 cases,treatment in the process of experimental lose 2 cases,control group lost 1 case,two groups on the basis of oral a cobalt amine,the experimental group adopted through therapy,the control group given conventional acupuncture treatment,respectively,before treatment,treatment,use the House-14 days Brackmann facial nerve paralysis(H-B)classification to evaluate and optimize Portmann simple rating scale,observation of patients suffering from the side of the situation of the functional recovery,Finally,the clinical effects of the two groups were analyzed and evaluated.Results: There were no statistically significant variation in gender,age and course of disease between the two groups before the implementation of treatment measures(P>0.05),It indicates that the two sets of data are balanced and can be compared.Overall efficacy: In the therapeutic group,5 cases were healed,19 cases were excellent,10 cases were available,and 4 cases were noneffective.In the matched group,1case was healed,9 cases were excellent,16 cases were available,and 13 cases were invalid.The integral response rate of the therapeutic group was 89.5%,which was more than the control group 66.7%.In the two groups before treatment,treatment day 14 Portmann symptoms integral contrast comparison: no statistically significant variation between the total score of two groups before treatment(P > 0.05),the treatment of simple optimization Portmann score 14 days decreased compared with before treatment(P <0.05),suggesting piercing through method and conventional acupuncture can make facial clinical symptoms abated,and through thorn method for the treatment of the disease maybe superior to conventional acupuncture.Before treatment,there was no statistically significant difference in the grade of h-b facial nerve paralysis between the two groups(P > 0.05).On the 14 th day after treatment,the grade of h-b facial nerve paralysis was lower than that before treatment(P < 0.05),indicating that both treatment methods could improve the motor function of the face,and the grade of the experimental group was lower than the control group.Conclusion: The clinical effect of penetrating acupuncture in the treatment of patients recovering from facial paralysis is probably better than that of conventional acupuncture,which can improve the recovery of facial function,improve the comprehensive efficacy of patients with facial paralysis.
