Objective: To investigate the relationship between Serum glutathione, uric acid and Parkinson's disease with depression and the possible risk factors for Parkinson's disease with depression. Methods: 59 patients with Parkinson's disease diagnosed by a physician were enrolled in the hospital,From in January 2017 to in December 2018 while 52 healthy body from our physical examination center were collected as the control.According to the Mental illness diagnosis and depression scale, the experimental group were divided by PD group and PD-D group and collecting the data of PD group and PD-D group included the gender,Disease course, unified Parkinson's Disease Rating Scale, geriatric depressionScale.the glutathione and uric acid content in the blood of the experimental group and the control group were measured.using SPSS 23.0 Statistical software to test the data.Binary logistic regression was used to analyze the possible influence factors of PD-D and the correlation between Serum glutathione, uric acid and PD-D was analyze. Results:The serum glutathione content of Parkinson's disease group(2.44±0.46?mol/L)is significantly lower than that of the control group(3.04±0.63?mol/L)and the serum uric acid content of Parkinson's disease group(286.56±75?mol/L)is Significantly lower than the control group(380±115?mol/L),the difference are statistically significant(t = 5.8,5.55,P<0.05);the course of disease and UPDRS scores in PD-D group are higher than those without depression, and the differences are statistically significant(t = 3.1,3.9,P < 0.05);The GSH content of PD-D group is significantly lower than that of PD without depression group(2.19±0.39?mol/L,2.72±0.37?mol/L,t=5.34,P<0.05),But the age,the gender, uric acid content are no significant difference between the PD-D group and theParkinson's disease without depression group(t=0.54,1.8,P>0.05).Binary logistic regression analysis suggest that the course of Parkinson's disease and UPDRS scores are PD-D risk factors(B = 0.57,0.12;EX(P)= 1.77,1.02,P < 0.05).Serum glutathione is negatively correlated with Parkinson's depression(B=-2.03,EX(P)= 0.13).Conclusion: 1.The levels of serum GSH and UA are significantly correlated with Parkinson's disease.2.There is a significant correlation between serum GSH level and Parkinson's disease with depression, instead UA.3.the patient's disease course,UPDRS score, the low GSH level are risk factors for Parkinson's disease with depression.
