Objective:The symptoms of depression are not only in emotion, but also in cognition, such as memory, attention, speech function and executive function. Many previous studies have shown that the occurrence and development of hypertension and depression disorders are closely related. However, there are few studies on the relationship between hypertension and cognitive function in patients with depression disorder. In this study, repeatable battery for the assessment of neuropsychological status(RBANS)was used for repetitive neuropsychological state test.Explored the characteristics of cognitive impairment in patients with depressive disorder complicated with hypertension. Methods:A total of 62 outpatients and inpatients who met the diagnostic criteria for depression in the International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems(ICD-10)were enrolled.Depressive disorders with hypertension were enrolled in the combined group, and depression patients without hypertension were included in the single disease group.Among them,30 were in the combined group and32 were in the single group.Thirty-two healthy persons matched by sex, age, education were recruited as normal control group. All the subjects completed the Hamilton Depression Scale,Repeatable Neuropsychological State Scale and Stroop Scale, and recorded the data.Results:1.The scores of immediate memory, visual span, speech function, attention, delayed memory and total score of RBANS in comorbidity group and depression group were lower than those in controlgroup[(73.63±11.62),(72.57±6.97),(69.30±9.99),(81.37±7.91),(88.03±6.58),(385.33±26.81)],[(80.22±6.60),(77.59±77),(78.88±7.25),(83.09±8.27),(88.13±9.56),(407.91±18.52)][(83.50±13.11),(82.25±8.97),(82.53±10.58),(91.25±14.33),(94.81±7.32),(434.34±38.79)];The difference was significant(P < 0.05).2.The scores of immediate memory, visual span, speech function and total score of RBANS in the combined group were lower than those in the depression group[(73.63±11.62),(72.57± 6.97),(69.30±9.99),(385.33±26.81)],[(80.22±6.60),(77.59±77),(78.88±7.25),(407.91±18.52)],The difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05);3.The results of multiple linear regression showed that the total score of RBANS was related with hypertension(?=-0.292,P < 0.016),total score of HAMD(? =-0.495,P < 0.001)and score of weight change factor of HAMD(? =-0.236,P=0.028);immediate memory was related with total score of HAMD(?=-0.545,p<0.001)and score of weight change factor of HAMD(?=-0.222,p=0.040);visual span was related with retardation factor(?=-0.389,P=0.002)and cognitive factor(?=-0.336,P=0.004)in HAMD;speech function was related with hypertension(? =-0.489,P<0.001)and day and night change factor in HAMD(?=-0.248,P=0.047).Conclusion:The depressive symptoms of depressive disorder patients complicated with hypertension are more serious than those without hypertension, which is mainly manifested in the total score of HAMD-24,the score of anxiety somatization factor and the score of day and night change factor; The cognitive impairment of depressive patients complicated with hypertension is more serious than that of patients without hypertension, which is mainly manifested in immediate memory, visual span,Speech dysfunction;and cognitive function is associated with hypertension and depressive symptoms in patients with depression. This study provides clinical guidance for the prevention and treatment of cognitive impairment in patients with depressive disorder complicated with hypertension.
