Objective: To explore whether there is correlation between yin deficiency yang hyperactivity syndrome and central arterial pressure(CAP)in community hypertensive patients. Methods: According to the epidemiological survey data of the population syndrome in 2013 and 2015 of the hypertension Chinese medicine community in Shandong plain county,we used the electronic syndrome differentiation system and the artificial differentiation method to carry on the syndrome differentiation and construct the database of epidemiological survey of the population syndrome.A total of 2739 hypertensive patients who participated in the survey in 2015 were selected.Results:(1)the main single syndromes of hypertensive patients were Yin deficiency and yang hyperactivity syndrome(975 Cases /35.6%),liver fire hyperactivity syndrome(852 cases /31.1%)and kidney qi deficiency syndrome(310 cases of /11.3%).(2)in the baseline data of hypertension, age(P = 0.005),diastolic blood pressure(P = 0.021)and pulse pressure(P = 0.006)were statistically significant.(3)there was no significant difference in Augmentation Index(AI)between CAP and Index in single syndrome group(P = 0.754).The mean value of central arterial systolic pressure(Central Aortic Systolic Blood Pressure,c SBP)(mm Hg): kidney qi deficiency syndrome(165.28 + 19.15)was the highest, followed by Yin deficiency syndrome(160.56 + 16.47)and liver fire hyperactivity syndrome(157.64 + 18.84),and higher than the upper limit of c SBP normal value;AIP75 mean: 94.06 of kidney qi deficiency syndrome(94.06)13.55)the highest, followed by the yin deficiency and yang hyperactivity(92.83 + 11.48),liver fire hyperactivity(77.52 + 12.93).CSBP(P < 0.001)and AIP75(P < 0.001)had significant differences among syndromes. Conclusion: There is a significant difference in CAP between single syndromes in each group. There is a correlation between yin deficiency and yang hyperactivity syndrome and central arterial pressure. The deficiency of kidney qi deficiency syndrome(CAP)is the highest, followed by Yin deficiency and yang hyperactivity syndrome, but the majority of patients with hyperactivity of yin deficiency and yang hyperactivity appear, and the syndrome of yin deficiency and yang hyperactivity may be the high risk syndrome of hypertension, and the intervention of arterial structure may delay abnormal changes of arterial structure during this period.
