Objective: Based on the theory of lung and large intestine in traditional Chinese medicine,to objectively evaluate the clinical application value of Yiqi Runchang method in acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(AECOPD),and to provide the basis for the clinical application of Yiqi Runchang method in AE COPD.Methods: In this study,64 patients were randomly divided into observation group(n = 32)and control group(n = 32).the observation group was treated with huangqi decoction on the basis of routine western medicine treatment for 4 weeks. The average hospitalization time, symptoms score of lung distension and chronic constipation, curative effect of TCM syndrome, cat evaluation and improved MRC dyspnea score were analyzed statistically. Results: Compared with the average hospitalization time of the patients, the observation group was smaller than the control group. The symptoms of lung distension and chronic constipation, the curative effect of TCM syndrome,CAT evaluation and improved MRC dyspnea score of the two groups were improved after treatment, and the observation group was better than the control group. Conclusion: Yiqi Runchang method can effectively improve the symptoms of lung distension and qi deficiency constipation, the severity of dyspnea, reduce the acute exacerbation of hospitalization time, has a significant clinical effect,no adverse reactions.
