Objective:To evaluate the efficacy of motor relearning programme on motor dysfunction of patients with stroke. Methods:A search strategy focused on“motor relearning programme” “stroke”and “motor dysfunction”was used to search for randomized controled trials about this Meta-analysis,within each of the following databases: CNKI,CBMdisc,VIP,Wanfang Data, pubmed,as well as cochrane library and google scholar. The entire search was conducted for the period from database inception until September,2017.The randomized control trials were included according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The data were extracted and analysed with Rev Man 5.2.Results:A total of 29 RCTs were included. The results of meta-analysis about the score of FMA showed that,MRP can increase the score of FMA(WMD=17.89,95%CI 14.55 to 21.23)compared with drug treatment. But there was no significant difference between the MRP group and the NDT group(WMD=10.91,95%CI 0.33 to 21.78,P=0.05).Sensitivity analysis showed that statistical result was unstable. The results of meta-analysis about the score of FMA-UE showed that,MRP can increase the score(total score 66 and 36)of FMA-UE(WMD=13.47,95%CI 0.85 to 26.09,and WMD=8.42,95%CI 6.40 to 10.45).The results of meta-analysis about the score of FMA-WH showed that,MRP can increase the score of FMA-WH(WMD=-7.02,95%CI-10.70,-3.33).MRP was found to be more effective than NDT(SMD=0.72,95%CI 0.45 to 0.99).The results of meta-analysis about lower extremity showed that,MRP can increase the score of FMA-LE(WMD=5.45,95%CI 3.78 to 7.12).MRP increased the score of MAS both sitting to standing and walking section(WMD=1.36,95%CI 0.47 to 2.26 and WMD=1.45,95%CI 0.99 to 1.92).The results of meta-analysis about balance showed that,MRP increased the score of FMA-B and Berg Balance Scale(WMD=1.74,95%CI 0.37 to 3.10 and WMD= 5.73,95%CI 2.33 to 9.14)compared with NDT.Conclusion:MRP can improve motor function of stroke patients effectively. The effect of MRP on the rehabilitation of wrist and hand function and balance function is better than that of NDT,but there is no sufficient evidence that MRP is superior to NDT in the improvement of overall motor function, upper and lower limb function.
