ObjectiveTo investigate the effect of PRP application on the clinical effect of arthroscopic suture of meniscal white area injury, and to provide some clinical data and experience for the treatment of meniscal injury.MethodsFrom October 2016 to December 2017,a total of 34 patients who met the criteria for the diagnosis and inclusion of meniscal injuries in the knee joint were selected at the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine,A total of 15 female patients and 19 male patients were randomly divided into two groups:experimental group(arthroscopic suture and PRP treatment group)and control group(arthroscopic suture group only),each group with 17 patients. There were 10 males and 7 females in the experimental group, including 8 cases of the affected left knee and 9 cases of the right knee. The age range was 19?48,and the mean age was 34.12±9.99.In the control group, there were 9 males and 8 females, including 7 cases of the affected left knee and 10 cases of the right knee. The age range was 18?48 with an average age of 35.88±8.82.The experimental group was treated with arthroscopic FasT-Fix suture combined with PRP,and the control group was treated by simple arthroscopic FasT-Fix suture. All patients were followed up for 3 months after operation, according to Barrett Standard evaluation of clinical healing after meniscus suture, using IKDC score and Lysholm The knee function and meniscal repair were evaluated by scoring, and the direct MRA of the knee was performed. The data of measurement(age,IKDC score and Lysholm score)between the two groups were compared with t?test, and Fisher's exact probability method was used to count data(sex, affected side and healing rate),all data were analyzed by SPSS 23.0 software entry and processing.ResultsBefore the operation, the IKDC score of the experimental group was 34.04±12.57 and Lysholm score was 40.65±13.17.The IKDC score in control group was 35.05±11.39 and Lysholm score was 40.41 ±13.13.The IKDC score was 78.90±3.61,Lysholm score was 89.24±4.32 and IKDC score difference was 44.86±11.19,Lysholm score difference was 48.59±10.33,clinical healing rate was 94%,complete healing rate of MRA was 82%and total healing rate of MRA was 88%in the experimental group after 3 months of operation.Control group IKDC score was 77.54±5.14,Lysholm score was 87.00±4.81,and IKDC score difference was 42.48±8.71,Lysholm score difference was 46.59±10.86,clinical healing rate was 88%,MRA was 70%and total healing rate was 82%.Before the operation, there was no significant difference in IKDC score and Lysholm score between the two groups(P=0.808,P=0.959).The IKDC score and Lysholm score before and after operation in the experimental group were statistically significant(P=0.00).The IKDC score and Lysholm score before and after operation in the control group were statistically significant(P=0.00).There was no significant difference in IKDC score and Lysholm score between the two groups at 3 months after operation(P=0.376,P=0.164).There was no significant difference in IKDC score difference and Lysholm score difference between the two groups(P=0.494,P=0.586).Comparison of Clinical Healing Rate,MRA Rate and MRA Total Healing Rate in 3 Months after Operation in Two Groups,The differences were not statistically significant(P=1.00,P=0.688,P=1.00).ConclusionType Arthroscopic FasT-Fix stapler combined with PRP and arthroscopic FasT-Fix suture for meniscus injury has definite effect. It has the advantages of less trauma, faster recovery and less complications. The clinical effect of combination therapy with PRP is not obvious, whether PRP has significant effect in meniscal repair and how to improve the healing rate of meniscal repair,we need more prospective study of sample size in the future.
