Clinical Observation Of The Yiqi Guwei Tongqiao Fang For Treatment Of Children Allergic Rhinitis(Feiqi Xuhan Syndrome)

Objective:Through comparing with western medical routine treatment,to evaluate the clinical curative effect on patients with FeiqiXuhan symptom by applying Yiqi Guwei Tongqiao Fang therapy.Methods:The gathered 60 clinical pediatric patients are randomly divided into treatment group and blank control group,30 patients for each.Treatment group is tagged with Yiqi Guwei Tongqiao Fang,while the control group is treated with Loratadine tablets.Two-dose course(one course includes 14 days)is scheduled for each group.During the treatment,a table was established to record the symptoms and curative effect with the timeline of tentative diagnosis,two weeks during treatment,four weeks during treatment and one month after treatment was closed.The statistical software SPSS 22.0 was applied to objectively analyze the clinical curative effect on both therapies.Results:(1)Research shows that general curative effect is better in treatment group.After four-weeks treatment,in treatment group,14 patients' symptoms were significantly improved,13 were effective,2 were invalid,total effective rate is 93.1%.For control group,the number is 6,16 and 4 respectively,resulting in 84.6%total effective rate.There is an obvious statistic difference between two groups(P<0.05).(2)Index of primary curative effect is comparative in both groups.After two-week treatment,the curative effect on the symptom of sneeze is better in control group(P<0.05),while no difference on symptoms like stuffy nose,running at the nose and other signs and symptoms of nose(P>0.05).After four-week treatment,no difference is found on the curative effect for all the aforementioned symptoms(P>0.05).(3)Index of on secondary curative effect like cold susceptibility is significantly better in treatment group(P<0.01).After four weeks treatment,no difference is found for cough cure in both groups(P>0.05).During the entire four-week treatment,in control group,there is no statistic improvement with related to cold susceptibility(P>0.05).No notable improvement is gained for timid low voice in both groups(P>0.05).(4)It can be noted treatment group has better performance in long-term curative effect.One month after the treatment was closed,for treatment group,12 patients didn't have recurrence,15 had recurrence but were mitigated,while only 2 patients had recurrence with no improvement,thus total recurrence rate is 93.1%.For the control group,the number is 3,13 and 10 respectively,resulting a recurrence rate of 65.1%.There is a notable difference between two groups.Conclusion:Both Yiqi Guwei Tongqiao Fang therapy and western medical routine treatment have notable curative effect on allergic rhinitis patients in terms of cardinal symptoms?secondary symptoms(cough)and symptoms of nose.Yiqi Guwei Tongqiao Fang has better long-term curative effect.Western medical routine treatment has no curative effect on secondary symptoms,such as cold susceptibility.
