The 147 patients in the control group are treated with 0.1% of Olopatadine Eye Drops twice a day. And the other 147 patients in the test group are treated with 1% of Olopatadine and 0.1% of Pranoprofen eye drops twice a day. Patients in both of the group are treated with 1-2 drops each time and use the drug every 5 minutes. And they are observed before treatment and 30 minutes and 7 and 14 days after the treatmment assessing their itching of eye and hyperemia value for the purpose of obtaining the effective rate difference of the two groups.Main Index:To compare the cure rate of the two groups based on the characteristics of clinical allergic conjunctivitis and the age distribution and itching of eye and hyperemia value and wheaher having allergic nasities and asthma during illness. Results:The allergic conjunctivitis occurs in the youth and the middle-aged ranging in ages from 12 to 55 years old. Patients younger than 12 only make up 6.1% while patients older than 55 compose 7.8%. There is no relationship between the desease and gender. It is observed that 50% of the subjects are suffered from allergic nasities and 33.3% accompanied by allergic asthma and 16.3% with family medical history. The itching of eye and ocular hyperemia are the key symptom. The main types of the case are seasonal allergic conjunctivitis and perennial allergic conjunctivitis, which make up 63.9%. The vernal keratoconjunctivitis makes up 23.1% in children, which is obviously much higher than that of the adult patients who constitute 6.6%. Meanwhile the atopic keratoconjunctivitis and giant papillary conjunctivitis only makeup 12.5%.There is no statistical sense (P>0.05) in the differences of the patients'ages, gender, symptoms and signs before treatment. The overall rating scores in the control group and test group are 21.95±3.01and 21.84±3.34(P=0.7670) before the treatment and 30 minutes after that are 20.10±3.59 and 18.82±3.11(P=0.0013).And the scores are 11.89±3.96 and 8.39±3.39(P=0.0000) seven days after treatment and 9.25±4.18 and 5.29±3.56(P=0.0000) respectively 14 days later. It is found out to be statistically significant (P<0.01). The effective rates are 51.7% in the control group and 66.0% in the test group respectively 7 days later.Meanwhile the effective rates are 72.1% in the control group and 98.6% in the test group respectively 14 days later.Significant differences were statistically significant (P<0.01). After the test patients in the test group have no obvious discomfort and side effects of medication. Conclusions:The allergic conjunctivitis occurs in the youth and the middle-aged. There is no relationship between the desease and gender. At the same time there ia a high proportion in the cases in which the subjects are suffered from allergic nasities or accompanied by allergic asthma. The main types of the case are seasonal allergic conjunctivitis and perennial allergic conjunctivitis. The vernal keratoconjunctivitis mainly occurs in children. And from the experiment we can safely conclude that it has an obvious effect to alleviate the symptoms and the signs of allergic conjunctivitis to use 0.1% of Olopatadine and 0.1% of Pranoprofen eye drops twice a day. It can help improve the treatment efficiency and shorten the treatment time. What's more it has very nice compliance and results in no serious adverse events. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Conjunctivitis, allergic, Olopatadine, Pranoprofen, anti-allergic drug | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
