Objective:in this paper,in the cheng female division on the basis of relevant literature,to explore the origins of zhengshi female division,combing its history origin,sorting of-zheng women's inheritance system,and classifying of zheng female division work of department of gynaecology research,summarizes the cheng women's main academic characteristics,transmission characteristic and academic influence,to enrich the content of research on Chinese medicine schools,provide new ideas and reference for TCM gynecology clinical.Methods:mainly literature study method,through the search d PuZhongWen periodical database,hownet,super star digital library in China and the Chinese medical and other electronic resources,as well as manual retrieval relevant existing ancient literature and modern books and materials,combining the cheng family,kunshan while place such as information,for the southern song dynasty to modern comparative complete cheng women's literature collecting,sorting and research system.Results:1.According to the records in kaifeng zheng shi pu(kunshan branch)and kunshan county annals,this paper makes a textual research on the historncal origin of the female branch of kunshan zheng family,that is,xue jiangshi is the ancestor of the female branch of zheng family,while the female branch of zheng family started from zheng gongxian.2.According to the chronology,the author divided the development of kunshan zheng women's department of gynaecology from the southern song dynasty to the present.The development of the department of gynaecology roughly experienced the process from the song and yuan dynasties,to the Ming dynasty,to the qing dynasty,and to the republic of China.3.The female branch of the zheng family has been passed down to the present day for 29 generations.Since the third zheng gongxian,it began to practice medicine in wuzhong as the family doctor of the female branch of the zheng family.The eighth zheng wenkang had three
