Objective:To explore the relationship between IL-10 gene promoter region-592C/A and-1082G/A gene polymorphisms and essential hypertension in the elderly from the perspective of genetics. Methods:A total of 148 patients with essential hypertension were admitted to the cardiology department and cadre ward of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region People's Hospital from October 2015 to August 2017.115 elderly non-hypertensive patients who had the same physical examination in our hospital were selected as the control group.Polymerase chain reaction limited fragment length polymorphism pcr-rflp detection-592 C/A and-1082 G/A genotypes.Results:(1)The genotypes of IL-10-592C/A and IL-10-1082 G/A conformed to the Hardy-Weinberg genetic balance.(P>0.05).(2)There was no significant difference in the basic characteristics and biochemical indicators of the two groups.(P>0.05).(3)There is no significant difference in the frequency of AA,AG and GG genotypes and A and G alleles at IL-10-1082A/G locus between the two groups(P>0.05).(4)There were three genotypes at IL-10-592,C/A locus, and the genotype distribution was different among different groups, and the frequencies of CA and AA genotypes were lower than those in the control group(?~2=15.303,P<0.001).(5)There was no correlation between the genotype frequency of IL-10-1082 and IL-10-592 and the level of blood pressure(?~2=1.844,P=0.764;?~2=5.269,P=0.261).(6)The results of Logistic regression analysis showed that the risk of hypertension in AC and AA genotype individuals of IL-10-592 was lower than that in CC genotype individuals(P<0.001,OR=0.207,P<0.001,OR=0.056).The risk of hypertension in individuals with GG genotype of IL-10-1082 was lower than that in individuals with AA genotype(P<0.001,OR=0.074).There was no significant difference in the risk of hypertension between AG genotype individuals and AA genotype individuals(P=0.210,OR=0.627).Conclusion:1.IL-10-592 and IL-10-1082 may be associated with essential hypertension in the elderly.2.The C genotype of IL-10-592 locus may increase the risk of hypertension in the elderly.3.AA genotype and AG genotype at IL-10-1082 locus may increase the risk of hypertension in the elderly.
