Objective: To compare the clinical efficacy of three different ankle joint fusion methods. Methods: retrospective analysis of 45 patients requiring ankle joint fusion in the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University from December 2015 to December 2017.According to different surgical methods, they were divided into three groups: autologous iliac crest and tibia grafting group(anterior approach tibiotalar joint autologous iliac crest plus distal tibia sliding mass ankle joint fusion,A group,n=16),autogenous bone graft group(anterior lateral approach autologous bone graft ankle arthrodesis,B group,n=14),fibula graft group(lateral approach fibula fracture plus fibula graft Arthrodesis,C group,n = 15).Compare the clinical efficacy of 45 patients with ankle joint fusion by ankle joint fusion rate, postoperative complication rate, changes in clinical indicators of surgical treatment, preoperative and postoperative VAS scores and AOFAS ankle function scores.Explore different fusion methods Clinical efficacy. Results: All 45 patients were followed up for 6-12 months with an average of(9.8±1.7)months.The malformation of ankle was corrected one month after surgery, and the pain was relieved or disappeared. There was no significant difference in the fusion rate between the three groups after operation(P >0.05).There was no significant difference in VAS score and AOFAS ankle function score between the two groups before treatment(P > 0.05).After treatment, the VAS score(2.27 ± 1.33)and the AOFAS ankle joint function score(87.45 ± 3.85)in group A were better than those in group B and C and the operation time(88.53 ± 10.01)min and intraoperative blood loss(37.06±5.36)ml was statistically significant compared with group B and C(P < 0.05).The incidence of postoperative complications was 0 % in group A,14.29 % in group B,and 13.33 % in group C.There was no significant difference between the three groups(P>0.05).Conclusion: There was no significant difference in the fusion rate betweenautologous iliac crest and tibia grafting group and the other two groups, but the surgical trauma is small and the ankle function is better. It is worthy of clinical promotion.
