Objectives:This study was conducted by investigating the birth history, past history, diet, picky eaters, sleep and movement of children with normal height, short stature and children with idiopathic short stature.A questionnaire survey was conducted to statistically study the impact of various factors on children's short stature and idiopathic short stature, with a view to scientific management of children's height, making full use of the factors affecting the height from the point of view of disease prevention in order to prevent short stature and to provide reference. Methods:A total of 772 children were enrolled in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The patients were divided into normal height group, partial short body group and idiopathic short stature group.(Children's birth:gestational age.fetal birth, mode of delivery, with or without asphyxia, birth weight, etc.),past illness(with or without disease, disease type),diet(Physical activity),sleep(night sleep time, sleep quality),and statistical treatment.Results:1.There was no significant difference in age and sex between the normal height group, the short stature group and the idiopathic short stature group.2.Three groups of delivery methods, parity times,by statistical treatment,P>0.05,no significant difference.Three groups of pregnant women with pregnancy history of pregnancy induced hypertension, gestational age, birth weight, birth hypoxia asphyxia, the statistical treatment,P<0.05,there was a significant difference and can be considered short stature and idiopathic short stature child height factors.3.Diarrhea,appendicitis and other gastrointestinal diseases, repeated tonsillitis, adenoid hypertrophy, chronic rhinitis, allergic rhinitis, eczema, allergic purpura and other allergies, etc.can be considered short stature and idiopathic short stature child height factors by the Chi-square test,P>0.05.4.The three groups of diet(appetite, food intake),exercise levels, sleep quality, night sleep time, level of water intake, stool situation using rank sum test, whether picky eaters, milk intake using chi-square test,P<0.05 all showed significant differences.Conclusion:1.Mode of delivery, parity times, etc.,is not the impact of short stature and idiopathic short stature children height factors.2.Mothers suffering from pregnancy-induced hypertension, birth weight, birth hypoxia asphyxia, etc.,can be considered short stature and idiopathic short stature child height factors.3.Diarrhea,appendicitis and other gastrointestinal diseases, repeated tonsillitis, adenoid hypertrophy, chronic rhinitis, chronic rhinitis, and chronic rhinitis, allergic rhinitis, eczema, allergic purpura and other allergies, etc.,can be considered short stature and idiopathic short stature child height factors.4.Diet(appetite,food intake),picky eaters, intake of milk, the status of drinking water, exercise level, sleep quality, night sleep time and stool defecation, etc.,can be considered short stature and idiopathic short stature children height factors.
