Carpal Tunnel Syndrome Acupoints Optimization And Model Of Compatibility By Data Mining Based On Periodical Literature

Purpose:Carpal tunnel syndrome,also called CTS,is a famously civilized disease.The disease is caused by overuse of wrist region,especially the computer?communication and consumer electronics are widespread now.Under the premise that acupuncture is obvious treatment plan,we reviewed all related case-report.The analysis of acupoints selection and compatibility would be discussed in order to improve the clinical application.Method:After we collected papers from Japan Medial Abstract Society?CNKI?WF?VIP?PubMed?Ovid and Science Citation Index,we would find out the related acupuncture course for CTS and establish the data base.We would analyze the frequency?tropism?attributes?compatibility and relationship by Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Support System and data mining.The acupoint selection and pairing would be concluded.Result:After inducing 99 papers about the acupuncture for CTS,we had contained 173 acupuncture prescriptions.In these prescriptions,there were 74 acupoints had been used,and the frequency was up to 920,including 14 Meridians and Extrapoints.As a statistical result,the Daling and Neiguan were the most two points and there were 7 Extrapoints.Besides,the analysis of Meridian relationship showed Hand peritoneal pericardium;analysis of location relationship showed that upper extremity was the most part;analysis of specific acupoints relationship showed that the Five Shu point and Yuan point were the most common.One-acupoint prescription was 9.83%in related case-report and the pair-prescription was 90.17%.The most of acupoint selection was regional and proximal.There was 78.61%of prescription using Traditional Chinese Medicine point association in the way of Meridian pairingConclusion:1.For optimal selection of acupoints,the acupuncture treatment for Carpal tunnel syndrome is mainly using the near-by acupoint of wrist.According the part,meridian,specific point analysis,there is obviously gathering and the consistent situation,especially Neiguanxue and Dalingxue.2.As compatibility of points,mainly included selection of points on the diseased channel?Exterior-interior meridian matching point and other specific points within six meridians of hands.Neiguanxue and Dalingxue which are two most important compatible points,they are both on the Hand peritoneal pericardium.These two points have same effect,and the combination of these two points can enhance their main funtion.This study has contributed to the clinical treatment of Carpal tunnel syndrome.
