Clinical Observation Of The Electro-acupuncture On Postoperative Functional Of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

Objective:To explore the clinical efficacy of electro-acupuncture in carpal tunnel syndrome in the postoperative functional rehabilitation, and provide the theoretical foundation for clinical use.Methods:60cases selected standard carpal tunnel syndrome patients,30cases were randomly divided into treatment group,and30cases were randomly divided into control group. Two groups of patients with preoperative routine for nerve electrophysiology inspection,all carried out under a microscope neurolysis.The treatment group curative rehabilitation after surgery,each treatment30mins, daily treatment1time,10times for a course of treatment, a total of three treatment.The control group oral neurotrophic medicine mecobalamin after surgery, one tablet each time (0.5mg),3times a day,10days for a course of treatment, a total of three treatment.Two groups of patients, in after2months,6months the carpal tunnel syndrome function evaluation criteria for evaluation of curative effect,and take a neural electrophysiology index test in the6months after operation.Results:All the cases were followed up for6～8months, an average of7.4months.All patients postoperative incision healing reached Ⅰ/A,no case of infection,all patients did not appear nervous and tendon injury.Subjective feeling of the patients in both groups after treatment were obviously remission,excellent rate of treatment group was significantly higher according to the function of carpal tunnel syndrome evaluation criteria,with statistically significant difference (P<0.05).Objective indicators for the determination of nerve conduction,the treatment group was significantly better than the control group,with statistically significant difference (P<0.05).Conclusion:Electric acupuncture could promote recovery of nerve function after surgery for patients with carpal tunnel syndrome,improve the situation of muscle atrophy,shorten the time of functional recovery in patients.
