Objective To observe the effects of Children's Crawling-Promotion-Training-Robot on gross motor function and cognitive function in children with spastic diplegia. Methods 60 children with spastic diplegia were selected and randomly divided into three groups.Group I patients received routine comprehensive rehabilitation therapy and the manual crawling training.Group II was treated with crawler-training therapy on the basis of routine comprehensive rehabilitation therapy.Group ? was treated with Children's Crawling-Promotion-Training-Robot on the basis of routine comprehensive rehabilitation therapy. The training prescription of three groups was once a day,5 days a week, and the treatment duration was 12 weeks. Before and after treatment,GMFM-88 scale was used to evaluate the gross motor development, and Gesell's adaptive developmental quotient(DQ)was used to evaluate cognitive function.MAS scale was used for muscle tension assessment. Results After treatment, the overall percentage of GMFM-88 and the scores of C dimension which were tightly tied to crawling and kneeling of the three groups was improved.Compared with the groups, the improvement of GMFM-88 and C dimension scores in Group ? was better than that of Group I.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The improvement of GMFM-88 and C dimension scores of Group ? was better than that of Group ?,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The cognitive improvement of Group I of children after treatment was not obvious, the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05),while the cognitive function of Group ? and Group ? of children had improved, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).At the same time, the improvement of cognitive function in GroupIII of children was better than that of Group II of children. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the MAS score of each group showed that the muscle tension was improved, the difference was 'statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in MAS score between the three groups after treatment(P>0.05).Conclusion Children's Crawling-Promotion-Training-Robot can improve the gross motor and cognitive function of children with spastic diplegia, the effect is better than the manual crawling training and the crawler-training.
