| ObjectiveTo observe the effect of comprehensive nursing of Chinese medicine on symptom induced by chemotherapy and quality of life of colorectal cancer patients after chemotherapy.MethodsUsing the convenience sample method,this research selected 86 colorectal cancer patients after chemotherapy between January 2017 and February 2018 from Henan Cancer Hospital.According to the sequence of toxic side effect induced by chemotherapy happened,all patients were randomly divided into intervention group(44 cases)and control group(44 cases).The two groups took pyridoxine 300 mg every day,at the same time,the control group adopted the normal nursing including ward environment,infusion nursing,health education and psychological nursing.On this basic,the intervention group adopted Chinese medicine nursing with dialectical characteristics,including herb soaking,auricular point sticking,five notes music as well as daily life nursing and dietary nursing.The whole intervention need 2 weeks.The level of HFS,the scores of Karnofsky Performance Status(KPS),adverse reaction and quality of life were compared to evaluate the effect of before and after intervention.All dates were analyzed by IBM SPSS statistics 19.0.Results1.Eighty-six cases finished this study,and there were no significant difference in two groups before and after intervention on the basic dates.2.There were significant difference on the total points and 18 items of MDASI-TCM in two groups before and after intervention,while 11 items were not.3.There were significant difference in two groups after intervention on the level of HFS.4.There were significant difference in two groups after intervention on the scores of KPS.5.There were significant difference in two groups after intervention on the quality of life.ConclusionIn this study,we can find that comprehensive nursing of Chinese medicine is benefit to degrade the level of HFS,relieve related symptom induced by chemotherapy and improve patients' quality of lives. |
