Objective: To understand the current situation of knowledge, attitude and Practice of medical practitioners about emergency rescue under emergent public health events and analyze the differences of knowledge, attitude and Practice among medical practitioners with different demographic characteristics and the relationship of knowledge, attitude, practice and self competence of medical practitioners under emergency rescue so as to provide decision-making evidence of improving the level of emergency rescue of medical practitioners in China. Methods: Through the literature research,we established the indicator system of knowledge, attitude and practice of medical practitioners about emergency rescue of emergent public health events and design the questionnaire. The Questionnaires were conducted by a web survey. The reliability and validity of the questionnaire were examined.Using descriptive analysis method, the urrent situation of knowledge, attitude and practice of medical practitioners about emergency rescue under emergent public health events was analyzed.Using T-test,One-way ANOVA and Kruskal-Wallis H test for non parametric test method, the difference of the knowledge, attitude and practice of medical practitioners about emergency rescue was compared.Using Spearman correlation analysis method, the relationship among knowledge, attitude, practice and self competence of medical practitioners about emergency rescue was analyzed.Results:(1)The main findings through descriptive analysis were as follows: the overall score of emergency rescue knowledge was 87.71±20.07 points, and the proportions of high, middle and low levels of scores were 50.1%,47.9%,2% respectively; The content and operation of basic first aid of professional knowledge was the most familiar item for medical practitioners(average 3.7 points); The content of understanding degree about《Emergency regulations on public health emergencies》and communicating knowledge with the relevant departments about typical emergency cases were the most unfamiliar items for medical practitioners(average 3.2 points). The overall score of emergency rescue attitude was 12.34±2.08 points, and the proportions of high, middle and low levels of scores were 85.4%,13.9%,0.7% respectively; The scores of emergency rescue attitude part were closed 4.11 points(Range 4.10 to 4.12).The overall score of emergency rescue practice was 9.22±3.03 points, and the proportions of high, middle and low levels of scores were 33.5%,55.6%,10.9% respectively; The content of the experience involved in emergency rescue related courses and training got 3.23 scores, which were the highest score among the emergency rescue practice. The content of the experience participating in the regional rescue of emergent public health events got 2.80 scores, which was the lowest score among the emergency rescue practice.36% of medical practitioners are confident with their own emergency rescue capabilities, which is the highest proportion; The responsibility of“life-saving mission”is the highest incentive factor for medical practitioners participating in emergency rescue; The biggest obstacle factor of medical practitioners participating in emergency rescue is that of “the limited capacity of their own emergency rescue”.(2)The main findings through difference analysis showed as follows: there were statistically significant differences between knowledge and practice of different medical practitioners with gender, education, hospital type and title compared to no significant difference of attitude; There were statistically significant differences between attitudes and practice of different medical practitioners with different positions compared to no significant difference of knowledge. There were statistically significant differences in knowledge, attitude and practice of different medical practitioners in different provinces and hospitals. ifferences in emergency rescue knowledge, attitudes and practice for doctors, nurses and pharmacists mainly are as follow: Doctors have the highest score in emergency rescue attitude, but have little knowledge about law;Nurses have a better grasp of the emergency rescue knowledge about content and operation of the first aid, vaccine injection, meanwhile, having a highest score in the part of the emergency rescue practice;Pharmacist little know about the part of emergency rescue knowledge, such as,content and operation of the first aid, injection use.(3)The main findings through correlation analysis showed as follows: there was a significant correlation between knowledge, attitude, practice and self competence of emergency rescue for medical practitioners.Among them, the highest correlation was the medical practitioners emergency rescue knowledge and practice(r=0.680,P < 0.01),the lowest correlation was the medical practitioners emergency rescue self competence and attitude(r=0.217,P<0.01);Secondly,self competence and emergency rescue knowledge(r=0.576,P<0.01),Self competence and emergency rescue practice(r=0.563,P<0.01),emergency rescue knowledge and attitude(r=0.342,P<0.01),emergency rescue attitude and practice(r=0.255,P<0.01).Conclusion: The Questionnaire of Knowledge,Attitude and Practice of Medical practitioners about Emergency Rescue of Emergent Public Health Events was designed firstly. The reliability and validity of the questionnaire were tatistically significant. The average score of knowledge, attitude and practice of medical practitioners about the emergency rescue of emergent public health events is above the medium level. The doctors gained the highest scores in the emergency rescue attitude, the nurses got the highest scores in the emergency rescue practice, and the pharmacists’ scores show the lower level in each part. There are a positive correlation among medical practitioners emergency rescue knowledge, attitude and practice. That is to say,the more knowledge of emergency rescue, the stronger intention and the higher the frequency of participating in emergency rescue activities. But at the same time, the correlation coefficient between the attitude and the knowledge and practice of emergency rescue for medical practitioners is low, which reflects the fact that the medical practitioner’s emergency rescue attitude is good, but it is difficult to implement in the specific action. We should strengthen the education of emergency rescue to improve the level of emergency medical rescue,to cultivate their attitude towards emergency rescue and guide their reasonable and correct practice. In order to guide the medical practitioners to participate in emergency rescue,we should also get rid of the barriers of medical practitioners to participate in emergency rescue by improving the medical practitioner’s emergency rescue capability, ensuring the safety of medical practitioners involved in emergency rescue, paying attention to the working intensity of medical practitioners to participate in emergency rescue, etc. In addition,we should cultivate the medical practitioner’s high quality of ocial citizenship, such as,life-saving mission, satisfaction of self-worth realization, sense of social responsibility. And establishing a reasonable incentive system is to encourage medical practitioners to participate in emergency rescue.
