Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of continuous subcutaneous insulin infusion(CSII)on acupoint and CSII on non meridian and non acupoint for patients with type 2 diabetes, and compare their clinical efficacy difference, then find the advantages of CSII with acupoint in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus. The study would provide scientific evidence for the clinical treatment of T2 DM.Methods:66 patients with type 2 diabetes were randomly divided into two groups,32 cases in the treatment group and the other in the control group(n = 34).Before treatment, the two groups were treated with basic treatment in the baseline period.Including exercise therapy, diet therapy and daily care of the insulin pump.In order to maintain the blood glucose of the subjects in a relatively stable range, the intervention measures were established. After the baseline period, the treatment group was treated with acupoint, while the control group was treated with non meridian and non acupoint;the baseline period was 2 weeks, and 4 weeks for a course, and the course of treatment lasted for 3 courses. The following outcome measurements were assessed in two groups before and after treatment: BMI,blood glucose,HbA1 c,insulin dosage and diabetes symptom scale. The incidence and severity of adverse reactions were recorded, and the efficacy and safety of the two treatments were evaluated.Using SPSS21.0 statistical software for data processing.Results:(1)The 2 groups were compared in terms of gender, age, duration of disease, length of pump,BMI,blood glucose,HbA1 c and symptom score before treatment, and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05),so the two groups were comparable;(2)The two groups after treatment the level of blood glucose, insulin dosage,HbA1 c and symptom score compared with before treatment were all decreased significantly, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);BMI of treatment group was significantly lower than before treatment(P<0.05),while the BMI of control group compared with those before treatment had no significant change(P>0.05);(3)The BMI,FPG,basal insulin dose and symptom score of treatmentgroup was significantly lower than the control group after treatment, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the P2 hBG,bedtime blood glucose,HbA1 c,and large dose of insulin before meals of treatment group compared with the control group, the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05);(4)Before and after treatment, the total effective rate of the treatment group was not significantly higher than that of the control group(P>0.05),the effective rate of the treatment group was 57.1%,65.7%,and 79.8%,respectively,and the control group was respectively 59.3%,62.2%,and 73.6%,the effective rate of the treatment group had the trend that was higher than the control group. And there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse events between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:CSII on acupoint and CSII through non meridian and non acupoint were both effective in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus. In controling BMI,stabling fasting blood glucose, reducing basal insulin dose, improving the symptoms of diabetes, the treatment group was significantly better than the control group.Expanding the new form of acupuncture in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus.
