Objective To study the clinical effect of Platelet-Rich Fibrin(PRF)on reducing alveolar bone absorption and promoting osteogenesis after tooth extraction.PRF was used to preserve the alveolar fossa site after tooth extraction.With time,the preservation effect and bone regeneration of alveolar bone were observed and analyzed,providing a clinical basis for providing enough bone volume for orthodontic reduction.Methods From October 2016 to March 2017,28 adult patients(18-25 years old)of class I of 4 first premolars were extracted from the Department of stomatology in the Department of Stomatology at the People's Hospital of Tangshan City.Each patient was divided into two groups: the experimental group and the control group.The individualized guide plates were used to record the alveolar fossa sites needed for observation.In the experimental group,PRF gel was filled in the extraction socket and extracted by PRF membrane.After the tooth extraction,the blood clot was retained in the extraction cavity without other treatments.The individualized guide plates were used to record the alveolar fossa sites needed for observation.Conical bundle CT(Cone-Beam Computed Tomography,CBCT)was taken immediately after operation,1 months after operation,and 2 months after operation.The observation and analysis of the maxillary bone density and the bone mass index of the maxillary alveolar fossa were recorded and analyzed.Orthodontics began at 2 months after operation,and the gingival soft tissues were observed after orthodontic treatment.Results According to the measured data of the gray value of the alveolar space of the control group and the experimental group 1 months after operation and 2 months after the operation,the gray value of the CBCT image in the extraction area of the tooth fossa was compared between 1 months and 2 months after the operation,and the results were P < 0.05,the difference was statistically significant.The experimental group and the control group were on the guide plate immediately after the operation,1 months after the operation,and 2 months after the operation.The vertical distance(CCH)at the reference point to the bottom of the tooth socket,the vertical distance(BCH)of the reference point on the central cheek alveolar ridge,the vertical distance from the reference point on the plate to the proximal alveolar ridge of the buccal side(BMH),the vertical distance from the reference point on the guide plate to the crest of the distal alveolar ridge on the cheek side(BDH),the reference point on the guide plate to the central alveolar ridge of the tongue / palatine side The vertical distance(L/PCH)of the top,the reference point on the guide plate to the vertical distance(L/PMH)of the proximal alveolar ridge on the tongue / palate,the vertical distance(L/PDH)of the reference point on the distal middle alveolar ridge on the tongue / palate,the vertical distance from the reference point on the guide plate to the proximal central alveolar crest(MCH),the reference point on the guide plate to the vertical crest of the distal central alveolar ridge.The distance(DCH)was compared.The results showed that all the two groups of alveolar fossa were high,the P value was more than 0.05,and the difference between the two groups was not statistically significant.1 months after the operation and 2 months after the operation,the experimental group was compared with the control group BCH,MCH,CCH,DCH,P/LCH,the data of the experimental group are less than the control group,P < 0.05,the difference was statistically significant;BMH,BDH,P/LMH,P/LDH.The comparison of the measured values,the data of the experimental group are less than the control group,P > 0.05,there was no significant difference in the difference between the gingival creases of the control group and the experimental group.The appearance of gingival creases in the control group and the experimental group was compared.The results showed that the number of gingival creases in the experimental group was less than that of the control group,P < 0.05,the difference was statistically significant.Conclusion 1 PRF can effectively delay alveolar bone resorption,maintain alveolar ridge height and increase alveolar bone density.2 PRF applied to orthodontics tooth extraction site preservation can effectively reduce the appearance of gingival creases.
