Clinical Observation On Cold-dampness Type Lumbar Disc Herniation Treated By Triple Therapy

Objective: In the clinical treatment of patients with lumbar disc herniation,patients with cold-dampness type lumbar disc herniation were studied to observe the VAS analog scale scores,JOA scores,and the degree of improvement in the quantitative scores of TCM symptoms before and after treatment with the triple therapy program.The clinical curative effect provides evidence for the treatment of combined lumbar intervertebral disc herniation with Chinese and Western medical treatment methods,seeking a non-surgical treatment plan that is effective,simple and inexpensive.Methods: In the outpatient department of orthopedic surgery in the First Affiliated Hospital of Henan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine,the patients who visited the hospital from January 2017 to February 2018 were screened for the first time,and they were required to meet the unified diagnostic criteria,and then re-screened according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria.In the investigation,60 eligible patients were selected as observation subjects,and randomized method was used to divide the treatment group into 30 cases and the control group as 30 cases.The treatment group was given traditional Chinese medicine Duhuo jisheng decoction,external Chinese medicine collapsing therapy with computer intermediate frequency impulse electrotherapy,and oral celecoxib capsules,the control group was given oral celecoxib capsules,external Chinese medicine collapsing therapy with computer intermediate frequency impulse electrotherapy,both groups of patients were given continuous treatment For14 days,all of the patients were treated with bed rest on the basis of a doctor's advice during the treatment period to perform functional exercise and receive the same health education method.Detailed records of basic data of patients,pretreatment and post-treatment VAS analog scale pain scores,JOA scores,quantitative scores of primary and secondary symptomsof Chinese medicine and clinical efficacy of the efficiency of statistical analysis.Results: Through comparative analysis of all relevant data,the results are as follows:(1)Before treatment,the basic data(gender,age,course of disease)of the treatment group and the control group were statistically compared.The difference was not statistically significant and comparable(P>0.05).(2)The treatment group was cured in 5 cases,markedly effective in 8 cases,effective in 13 cases,ineffective in 4 cases.The overall effective rate was 86.67% in triple therapy,3 in the control group,6 in marked effect,16 in effective,5 in ineffective,and 83.33% in overall efficiency.The total effective rate of the treatment group was slightly better than that of the control group.The total effective rate of the two groups was not statistically significant(P >0.05).(3)Both groups can effectively improve the VAS simulation scale after treatment,but there was no significant difference between the two groups(P >0.05).(4)Both groups of treatment programs can effectively improve the JOA score of the lumbar spine,which improved significantly after treatment(P <0.05),and the treatment group was better than the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).(5)After treatment,the treatment group had a significant difference in the quantitative classification of TCM symptoms compared with the control group(P <0.05).Conclusion:(1)Triple therapy internal treatment of traditional Chinese medicine Duhuo jisheng decoction,external Chinese medicine collapsing therapy with computer intermediate frequency impulse electrotherapy,and oral celecoxib capsules,external Chinese medicine collapsing therapy with computer intermediate frequency impulse electrotherapy,two treatment programs can effectively improve the Cold dampness type of patients with lumbar disc herniation were 86.67% and83.33%,respectively,and the clinical efficacy was basically the same.(2)Triple therapy in treatment group is effective in improving lumbar and leg pain,clinical signs,and limited daily activities caused by lumbar disc herniation.(3)Triple therapy in treatment group has a significant effect in improving the quantified grading scores of TCM symptoms(heavy lumbar and leg pain,adverse side rotation,cold limbs,and numbness of limbs).(4)There was no serious adverse reaction during the treatment of triple therapy,reflecting its safe and effective treatment characteristics.
