Objective: Observe the comparison of clinical treatment efficacy and superiority of ChangShu’an by using the two different therapies of Zhang Dongyue’s experience decoction ChangShu’an and Western-style mesalazine enteric-coated tablets(Huidi)commonly used in clinical treatment to treat ulcerative colitis of liver depression and spleen deficiency type.To explore the mechanism of ChangShu’an treatment of ulcerative colitis with liver depression and spleen deficiency, provide objective basis for the clinical application of ChangShu’an,and provide new ideas and methods for the prevention and treatment of ulcerative colitis. Methods: Randomly established the ChangShu’an oral test group(20 cases)and the mesalazine enteric-coated tablets(Huidi)oral control group(20 cases),taking 15 days as a course of treatment, after 2 courses of treatment, observe the two groups of patients before and after treatment Clinical symptoms, disease activity index(Mayo index)scores,Baron endoscopy scores, and changes in TCM syndrome scores and total scores, and records of adverse events and recurrences during follow-up,both before and after treatment.A comprehensive evaluation was made of the comprehensive curative effect, the symptomatic effect of TCM,and the healing of intestinal mucosa. Results: The clinical efficacy of the two groups of patients was comparable, with no statistical difference(P>0.05).Compared with the total scores of Mayo index, both groups had a therapeutic effect of reducing the degree of disease activity after treatment(P<0.01),but the efficacy of reducing the degree of disease activity and induction of remission was similar between groups, and there was no significant difference(P>0.05).For the symptomatic effect of traditional Chinese medicine, the total effective rate was 90% in the experimental group and 85% in the control group. The experimental group was significantly better than the control group(P<0.01).The experimental group had a significant effect on improving the symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine(P<0.01).The control group could not significantly improve the symptoms of chest pain symptoms(P>0.05),and had a certain effect on improving the symptoms of suffocation(P<0.05).There was a significant improvement in the other symptoms(P<0.01).The experimental group had better effect than the control group in improving the pre-diarrhoea emotional tension or depression and irritation and other incentives, chest pain, sigh symptoms(P<0.05).The Baron endoscopic score comparison showed that the efficacy of the two groups was comparable in improving the intestinal mucosal lesions. There was no statistical difference in mucosal healing between the two groups(P>0.05),and the endoscopic response rate in the control group(95%)was significantly higher than the endoscopic response rate of the experimental group(60%)(P<0.01).There was no significant difference in the recurrence rate(P>0.05).No adverse reactions occurred during the treatment of the two groups. Conclusion: 1.Zhang Dongyue’s experience decoction ChangShu’an can effectively eliminate or improve the various symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine in patients with ulcerative colitis with liver depression and spleen deficiency, especially for the typical symptoms caused by liver depression and spleen deficiency, such as emotional tension or depression and irritability before diarrhea, chest pain, sigh, the effect is more prominent.2.ChangShu’an can effectively reduce the patient’s disease activity, induce remission, and has a good effect in improving the intestinal mucosal lesions and endoscopic response.3.ChangShu’an is an effective prescription for the treatment of ulcerative colitis with liver depression and spleen deficiency,no obvious adverse reactions and side effects, low recurrence rate, significant curative effect, worthy of clinical application and promotion.
