Objective: To observe the curative effect of Yiqi Jiedu Decoction combined with SOX regimen chemotherapy for patients with stage ?B-? who are in qi deficiency and toxin accumulation in gastric cancer. To investigate the effect of Yiqi Jiedu Decoction on the efficacy and attenuation of chemotherapy in the treatment of gastric caccer in stage?B-?,all of these just make it play an active role in further promoting on the clinical application. Methods: Randomized digital stratification was used to divide the treatment group into 30 cases in the control group.Thirty patients in the treatment groups were combined with the Yiqi Jiedu Decoction on the basis of SOX regimen chemotherapy, and syndrome differentiation and treatment was based on the main side. The decoctions of traditional Chinese medicine were prepared by the pharmacy of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Henan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine(Henan Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine). Each set of 2 bags which were in 200 ml for one day,one is treated at 9:00 am,another did at 5:00 pm,everyday was on the same time.Chinese medicine was first taken 1 weeks before systemic chemotherapy, and then synchronized with systemic chemotherapy. In the control group,30 patients were treated with SOX regimen alone for 21 days 1 cycle, and the whole systemic chemotherapy were last for 4 to 6 cycles. Both groups are generally treated in the same.Through this clinical observation, the progression free survival(PFS),disease efficiency(DCR),CEA and CA199,TCM syndrome, quality of life,KPS and side effects were observed in ?B-? stage gastric cancer. All data comparisons were analyzed by statistical software. Results: Through this clinical observation,it is shown that: Yiqi Jiedu Decoction combined with SOX regimen systemic chemotherapy compared with SOX regimen systemic chemotherapy has a statistically significant difference in the efficacy of disease response(DCR)about alleviating the objective efficacy of the tumor(P<0.05),but in the extension of PFS,there was no statistical difference(P>0.05).There was no statistical difference between the two groups on CEA and CA199treatment(all P>0.05).The total score of TCM symptoms and the improvement rate in the treatment group were significantly different from those in the control group(P<0.05).The quality of life using the gastric cancer-specific scale,in addition to hair loss areas, the treatment groups were lowerer decreased than the control groups on all the other points, which were significantly different from those in the control group(P<0.01).The KPS score in the treatment group were significantly different from those in the control group after treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05)The treatment group had statistically significant effects on leukopenia, nausea and vomiting, which were induced by chemotherapy(P<0.05).The creatinine occurred in the two groups were in no risen. There was no statistical difference in thrombocytopenia, liver function and peripheral nerve injury(P>0.05).However,the treatment group did not aggravate the toxic side effects caused by SOX regimen chemotherapy. Conclusion: Yiqi Jiedu Decoction combined with SOX regimen for systemic chemotherapy in patients with stage ?B-? in qi deficiency and poisoning can achieve synergism and attenuation to some extent, which are reflected in the improvement of disease efficiency, improvement of TCM syndromes, improvement of the quality of life of patients with gastric cancer, the reduction of toxic, improve KPS scores and side effects of systemic chemotherapy, when compared with SOX regimen. There was no significant advantage in prolonging the patient's PFS,and reducing CEA and CA199 compared with chemotherapy alone, there was no reduction for patient's PFS time and no increasing for the patient's CEA and CA199.
