| Objective:Huangqi Erzhu decoction is used to improve the blood sugar index,blood lipid,obesity index and insulin resistance of type 2 diabetic(T2DM)patients with spleen deficiency,phlegm dampness,obesity,and provide a theoretical basis for the application of Huangqi Erzhu Decoction in the treatment of obesity T2 DM.Methods: A randomized,controlled study design,patients were collected from 66 cases of spleen dampness obesity T2 DM,according to a computer random number generator were randomly divided into treatment group and control group(n = 33),the control group using only basic treatment combined with metformin,the treatment group on the basis of Western medicine plus Huangqi Erzhu decoction,treatment course 90 days.The changes of blood glucose index,blood lipid,obesity index and insulin resistance were observed in the two groups before and after the test,and the TCM syndrome score was evaluated.Results:1.In the course of clinical observation,3 cases were lost in each group,60 cases were finally observed,30 cases in each group.before the start of treatment two groups of patients with baseline data(age,gender,disease duration,disease distribution,TCM symptom score)had no significant difference(P>0.05);2.after treatment,the total effective rate of control group was 63.33%,lower than the total efficiency of treatment group was 86.67%,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);3.two groups of patients after treatment the curative effect of traditional Chinese medicine,the control group the total efficiency of 76.67%,lower than the treatment group,the total efficiency of 93.33%,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);4 after treatment in two groups of patients after the TCM symptom scores significantly lower than before treatment,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the clinical indicators in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).5.After treatment,the blood glucose related index of the two groups decreased compared with those before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the clinical indicators in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).6.After treatment,the blood lipid index of the two groups decreased compared with that before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).After treatment,the blood lipid index in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.01).7.After treatment,the HOMA-IR of the two groups decreased compared with that before treatment,and the HOMA-IAI increased compared with that before,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,compared with the control group,the HOMA-IR decreased and the HOMA-IAI increased,and the difference was statistically significant.(P<0.05);8.After treatment,the indexes of BMI and WHR were lower in the two groups than before the treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the BMI and WHR in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).9.in the course of treatment,there were no adverse events in all two groups.Conclusion:Huangqi Erzhu decoction can significantly improve the clinical symptoms of obese T2 DM patients(Syndrome of spleen deficiency with phlegm and dampness).It has good medical effect and good safety in Chinese and Western medicine.Huangqi Erzhu decoction can effectively reduce the patient’s fasting blood glucose and 2 hours postprandial blood sugar,and reduce the glycated hemoglobin.Huangqi Erzhu decoction can reduce the waist to hip ratio and BMI in obese T2 DM patients.Huangqi Erzhu decoction can improve insulin resistance and increase insulin sensitivity in obese T2 DM patients.Huangqi Erzhu decoction can improve the level of blood lipid in obese T2 DM patients. |
