The Studies Of “The Theory Of Fire Generates Soil” And Its Clinical Application By Professor Sun Yuxin

Purpose:This topic in Chinese Medicine theory as guidance,based on clinical practice,aimed at system from two aspects of theory and clinical practice to summarize professor Sun Yuxin's clinical application experience of the“Fire Generates Soil” theory,deepen the connotation of the“Fire Generates Soil” theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine,as we continue to research and excavate the clinical value of combination of theory with the Five Phases is proposed.Method:The first part: through literature retrieval,to collect the ancient and modern literature about “Fire Generates Soil” theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine,the studies of current “Fire Generates Soil” theory of Chinese Medicine applications were reviewed,as the research provides the theoretical basis of Traditional Chinese Medicine.During the study,with the research of the ancient classical literatures of TCM,mainly using “The Great Collection of TCM Ancient Books” in the library,and “The TCM Book” etc.,by choosing “fire”,“soil”,“fire generates soil”,and “heart spleen” in search terms,systematically review the origins of “the theory of fire generates soil”,summarized all previous studies of the acknowledgement of “Fire Generates Soil” theory,and the application of its' general developments.For the discussion and researches of the most recent studies by the modern medical practitioners,the author mainly uses the Weipu Database “VPCS” and China Journal Net “CNKI”.In process of review and research,the study is also reference to books: “TCM Viscera-state and Clinical Applications”,“Five Elements of TCM Research and Clinical Application”,“Syndrome Differentiation of the Five ElementsSpeculative Record of De-ying Zhang”,“Qian-Zhai Medical Notes by Bowei Qing”,“Particular Disease Series by Famous Doctors-Spleen and Stomach Diseases”,“Ancient and Modern Doctors Clinical Authenticated Series-Diarrhea and Dysenter Section”,“The Five Zang Organs Theories of TCM Research: From Five Elements to Five Zang Organs”.Their views of the subject are also referenced.The second part: with the professor Sun's guidance in the long-term clinical practice,and through appropriate face to face teaching,in-depth understanding of the professor's clinical experience and the academic essence;while studying at the same time,with the professor's real-time record basis and its sorts,mastering a large number of objective,authentic raw materials,collect professor's academic papers,notes,works,lecture video,scientific research,and other information to organize the research.In the end,the author analyzes and summarizes the experience of the "Fire Generates Soil” theory in the clinical application of the professor,and objectively sums up the academic thoughts of the professor's using of the " Fire Generates Soil”.Results:Professor Sun Yuxin combines the theories of “Inner Canon of Huangdi”(Nei Jing),“Classic Questioning”(Nan Jing)and clinical practice of TCM theory of “Fire Generates Soil",from the understanding and experience,Professor Sun corrects the long time misunderstanding and deviation of this theory,he believed the “Fire Generates Soil” is the height of the relations between the Heart and Pi(Spleen)system,heart belongs to fire,spleen belong to earth.But,the “Fire" not only represents the Heart Yang,also contains the Heart Yin and blood;That is,the Heart Yang,the Heart Qi not only has the characteristic of the “Fire”,the Heart Yin blood also has the characteristic of “Fire”.The “Soil” not only represents the Spleen Yang and Qi,but also includes the Spleen Yin,the Stomach Yin.Both the spleen Yang and Yin,and the Stomach Yang and Yin have the characteristics of “Soil”.“Fire Generates Soil”,in terms of physiological begets and mutual aid,heart is the mother of the spleen;qi and blood,Yin and Yang has a help or to promote the role of the spleen and stomach function,blood,Yin and Yang of heart normal has breed,promote the function of spleen and stomach,so as to maintain the normal spleen and stomach function,the spleen as for the son of the heart,spleen and stomach function normal helps keep the heart filling,promote the heart function of normal operation.In the aspect of pathology mainly for “mother-child phase” and “not enough fire to generate soil” on one hand,dysfunction of qi and Yin and Yang of heart,will affect the normal function of spleen,this is known as “the disorder of the mother organ affecting the child organ”,and dysfunction of qi and Yin and Yang of spleen and stomach,may also affect the function of the heart,this is known as "disorder of the child organ affecting the mother organ”.In clinical practice,Professor Sun often uses the theory of “Fire Generate soil” as the guidance to treat the related diseases of the heart and spleen which is very effective.Conclusion:First,the tutor put forward a new understanding of the connotation of the theory of "Fire Generate soill",deepened the connotation of the theory of five lines of Chinese medicine and corrected the bias on this theory for a long time,and the two is that the tutor will classify the disease with the application of "Fire Generate soil" to guide our clinical treatment of heart and spleen related diseases.The three is the new understanding and practice guiding experience of the "Fire Generate soil" theory,which provides an example for us to better inherit and excavate the clinical value of the theory of five lines of life.
