ObjectiveTo observe the clinical effect of Sangju-Yin Decoction on the children with acute bronchitis(syndrome of wind-heat invading lung)and complicated with Mycoplasma pneumoniae and the relation with Sangju-Yin Decoction and IL-1? and ?-defensin-2,which might help provide clinical reference basis for the mechanism of anti-inflammation and immune regulation.Methodschildern with acute bronchitis(syndrome of wind-heat invading lung)and complicated with Mycoplasma pneumoniae was selected between March 2017 and December 2017 were selected in the outpatient of pediatrics in the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of TCM.In this study,the children were divided into experimental group and control group.Based on the routine treatment,the control group were treated with only azithromycin while the experimental group were treated with Sangju-Yin Decoction united azithromycin.Both of the two group were treated and observed for 2 courses with one week in a course,and before an after treatment Children were explored ELISA to detect their the expression of IL-1? and ?-defensin-2 in the blood The sign or symptom of cough,wheezy phlegm,wheeling,rhinobyon,running nose and lung rale were recorded and observed about the two group.before and after treatment.Results1.After the test,37 cases were collected,of which 22 children in the experimental group and 15 children in the control group.36 cases were completed in the study with one case dropped in the experimental group.The shedding case was not analyzed by the statistical analysis.2.After 7 days and 2 weeks of treatment,the sign or symptom(including Cough,wheezy phlegm,wheeling,rhinobyon,running nose and lung rale)were improved signifi cant with those before treatment in experimental group and control group(P<0.05).After 7 days and 2 weeks of treatment,the total scores of symptoms and signs decreased more obviously than those before treatment in the two group(P<0.05).3.After 7 days and 2 weeks of treatment,the total scores of symptoms and signs in experimental group decreased more obviously than that in the control group(P<0.05).After 7 days treatment,the sign or symptom of cough,wheezy phlegm,wheeling,rhinobyon,running nose and lung rale were improved better in the experimental group than that in the control group(P<0.05),but with no significance(P<0.05)between the two group after 2 weeks of treatment.4.After 7 days of treatment,there were no statistical difference(P=0.058>0.05)between experimental group(with 57.14% clinical curative rate)and control group(with 85.71% clinical curative rate)on the overall therapeutic effect.After 2 weeks of treatment,there were no no statistical difference(P>0.05)between experimental group(with 66.67% clinical curative rate)and control group(with 57.14% clinical curative rate)on the overall therapeutic effect.5.There were statistical difference(P<0.05)on the disappearance time of cough between the experimental group(8.14 days on average)and the control group(10.6 days on average).6.After 2 weeks of treatment,there were no statistical difference on serum level of IL-1? and ?-defensin-2 on the two groups with that before treatment.There were no no statistical difference(P>0.05)on serum level of IL-1? and?-defensin-2 between the two group.7.There was a positive correlation between IL-1? and ?-defensin-2 before and after 2 weeks of treatment(P<0.05).ConclusionOn the treatment of children with acute bronchitis(syndrome of wind-heat invading lung),Sangju-Yin Decoction play an important role in shortening treatment course and improve the clinical symptoms and signs.Correlation between Sangju-Yin Decoction and IL-1?,? defensin2 could not be definited only based on the two weeks study.There was a positive c o r r e l a t i o n b e t w e e n s e r u m c o n c e n t r a t i o n o f I L-1 ? a n d t h a t o f ?-defensin-2.
