The Study On TCM Syndrome And Carotid Atherosclerosis In Acute Ischemic Stroke

ObjectiveThis study aims to analyzing the relationship between TCM syndrome of acute ischemic stroke(ACI)and characteristics of carotid atherosclerosis lesions,which can provide more objective evidence for microscopic differentiation on TCM syndrome of ACI.Further,this study can make more meaningful combination of TCM syndrome of ACI and carotid color ultrasonography so that we can improve the efficacy.MethodsAccording to the ?The Chinese guidelines of acute cerebral ischemic stroke for diagnosis and treatment 2014?which was wrote by the group of Neurology branch of Chinese medical association cardiovascular epidemiology and ?The diagnosis of evaluation criteria and the efficacy of apoplexy?which was wrote by the state administration of traditional Chinese medicine emergency treatment group on 1996.And differentiate 200 patients to the syndrome of TCM.Then collect the basic general clinical data and the result of carotid color ultrasonography.The software SPSS17.0 was used for data entry,management and statistics.Compare the results of carotid artery color ultrasonography between different syndromes of TCM.Emphases on the correlation between different TCM syndromes of acute ischemic stroke and carotid IMT(internal medium film)thickness,systolic peak velocity(PSV),plaque number of plaque property.Result1.The study included 200 cases.There were 125 males and 75 females.The ratio of males to females is 5:3.The average age is 68.60 ± 11.475.2.In patients with acute ischemic stroke,hypertension accounted for 68.50%,overweight people accounted for 39.50%,diabetes and smokers accounted for 25.50%,23.00%,and blood lipids accounted for 8.50%.3.There was a positive correlation between phlegm-stasis syndrome and IMT in carotid artery.4.There is a positive correlation between wind phlegm stasis syndrome and the peak velocity of carotid artery systolic(PSV).5.There was positive correlation between Yin deficiency and carotid artery plaque.6.In acute ischemic stroke,different TCM syndromes of different TCM syndromes are the most significant phlegm-dampness and dampness,and the minimum is the wind-phlegm stasis syndrome.In acute ischemic stroke,the resistance index of different TCM syndromes of different TCM syndromes is the most significant,and the minimum is phlegm and dampness.
