ObjectiveTic disorders(TD)is a chronic neurological disease characterized by muscular twitching as the primary clinical symptom in children and adolescents.It has a long course of disease,with complex comorbid disease.It has an increasing incidence in recent years.TD has adverse effect on some aspects,such as patients' physical and mental condition,schooling,family and the society.In this study,we observe the short-term effect of "Peitu Yimu Xifeng" massage on children with tic disorder.MethodsThis study,including 27 cases,uses “Peitu Yimu Xifeng”massage to treat children in spleen deficiency and liver hyperactivity syndrome with TD.Yale Global Tie Severityb Scale is used to score patients' symptom before the first treatment,before the second treatment and two days after the third treatment.Efficacy analysis is made from the score changes after massage for a single time and massage for three times.The measurement data is described by mean and standard deviation(x±S).The total effect was analyzed and curative effect analysis was made in aspects of gender,age,duration,and the lesion degree.ResultsThe examination indicated that a single massage therapy had no significant effect on the tic symptoms.But it indicated that a three-time massage therapy in treating tic symptoms had a good short-term effect.In the safety evaluation,the treatments was harmless to human.ConclusionA three-time "Peitu Yimu Xifeng" massage treatment is beneficial for the improving twitching symptoms in children with TD in spleen deficiency and liver hyperactivity syndrome in the short term.And the study also indicatesthat the treatment is harmless to human. |
