The Effect Of Qi Tian Granule Recipe On Hidden Blood Loss In The Elderly Patients After Postoperative Intertrochanteric Fracture Of Femur

ObjectiveThis study explored the clinical efficacy and safety of Qi Tian granule recipe on hidden blood loss in the elder patients after postoperative intertrochanteric fracture of femur,and provided clinical evidence for the promotion of Qi Tian granule and reference for clinicians in clinical medication for elderly patients after trochanteric fracture surgery.MethodsFrom May 2017 to February 2018,we choose the patient with femoral intertrochanteric fracture in our hospital,included with TCM syndrome of qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome,and all of them treated for the PFNA operation.A total of 60 cases,randomly divided into experimental group and control group 30 cases.The control group received routine anti infection and anticoagulant treatment.The experimental group took Qi Tian granule recipe-after surgery.These two groups will be recorded the age,gender,height,weight,limb position,basic diseases,fracture type,Hb,Hct before surgery,Hb,Hct,dominant blood loss in surgery and Hb,Hct on the first day,third day,and seventh day after surgery.At last,we calculate the amount of hidden blood loss and compare the differences between the two groups.Results1.The difference of Hb and Hct in the two groups:The levels of Hb and Hct on the third postoperative day were significantly lower than those before the operation in the two groups,the differences was statistically significant(P<0.01);The levels of Hb and Hct on the third postoperative day were not recovered from the first postoperative day in the two groups,the differences were not statistically significant(P>0.05);The levels of Hb and Hct on the seventh postoperative day were higher than those on the first postoperative day in the two groups,the differences was statistically significant(P<0.01).2.The difference of Hb and Hct between the two groups:There were no significant difference in the levels of Hb and Hct on the first postoperative day((P>0.05).There were no significant difference in the levels of Hb and Hct on the third postoperative day((P>0.05).The difference of Hb and Hct levels on the seventh postoperative day were statistically significant(P<0.01),which the experimental group was higher than the control group;The difference between hidden blood loss and total blood loss was statistically significant(P<0.05),which the experimental group was lower than the control group.and the total blood loss so that improve the patient's anemia.There was no significant difference in the rate of blood transfusion between the two groups(P>0.05).ConclusionQi Tian granule recipe can increase the level of Hb and Hct on the hidden blood loss in the elder patients after postoperative intertrochanteric fracture of femur,effectively reduce the hidden blood loss and the total blood loss,so that improve the patient's anemia.
