Clinical Observation Of The Efficacy Of Acupiont Catgut Embedding Therapy For Chronic Superficial Gastritis Patients With In-coordination Between The Liver And Stomach Syndrome

ObjectiveChronic gastritis is an inflammatory condition of the gastric mucosa.In general,chronic gastritis is divided into chronic superficial gastritis(CSG)and chronic atrophic gastritis(CAG).It is considered that gastric cancer accords with chronic gastritis.Early intervention in chronic gastritis is conducive to reversing the chronic inflammatory state of gastric mucosa.To provide a more powerful and effective treatment for CSG,we did this observation to evaluate the clinical efficacy of acupiont catgut embedding therapy in treating CSG patients with in-coordination between the liver and stomach syndrome.Methods60 patients were randomly divided into group A and group B,30 cases in each.Group A received acupiont catgut embedding therapy once a week,a course of two weeks,totally two courses.Group B received the traditional Chinese medicine prescription Chaihu Shugan powder,once a day,a course of two weeks,totally two courses.The main symptom scores,Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)syndrome scores,SF-36 scores,Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA)and Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD)scores were used to evaluate the changes of two groups after treatment.Results1.According to the main symptom scores,the total effective rate of Group A was 96.67%,while the total effective rate of Group B was 76.67%.The difference of the total effective rate between two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total efficacy of two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.According to the TCM syndrome scores,the excellence rate of Group A was 80.00%,while the excellence rate of Group B was 10.00%.The difference of the excellence rate between two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total efficacy of two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.After the treatment,the main symptom scores in Group A and Group B were lower than that before treatment.After one course,the scores of Stomach Pain and Heartburn were significantly lower in Group A than in Group B(P<0.05).After two courses,the scores of Stomach Pain,Heartburn and Abdominal Distention were significantly lower in Group A than in Group B(P<0.05).4.After the treatment,SF-36 scores in both groups were higher than those before treatment.The scores of Pain,General Health,Vitality and Mental Health were better in Group A than in Group B(P<0.05).5.After the treatment,the scores of HAMA and HAMD in two groups were lower than those before treatment.The difference of two groups was not statistically significant(P>0.05).ConclusionBoth Acupiont catgut embedding therapy and traditional Chinese medicine prescription are effective in in-coordination between the liver and stomach syndrome of GCS.Acupiont catgut embedding therapy is more effective fast than traditional Chinese medicine prescription in treating Stomach Pain,Heartburn and Abdominal Distention.Both of these two therapy have the same efficacy in Eructation and anxiety-depression state.
