The Clinical Observation Of Effect Of Penetrating Acupuncture On Idiopathic Facial Palsy

Objective:The object of this research is to provide new ideas and new methods for clinical treatment of idiopathic facial palsy by comparing the methods of penetrating acupuncture and conventional acupuncture on the curative effect of facioplegia.Methods:In the clinical treatment,we collected 60 cases of patients who met the criteria of this project,the cases were randomly assigned into the treatment group and the control group,30 patients each group.Western medicine was used as a basic treatment in both groups,patients in the treatment group were treated with facial penetration method combined with electroacupuncture,while the control group was treated with conventional acupuncture with electroacupuncture.All the patients were treated twice a day,30min each time for 3 courses(7 days a course).After receiving 6-day treatment,rest for 1 day.Before the treatment starting and when it is done after 3courses,Bell's palsy ten-scoring method and House-Brackmann facial nerve function grading were used to score the level of facial nerve injury in patients.The examination of motor nerve conduction velocity was measured in two groups on the seventh day of patient onset and after the treatment,and the amplitudes were recorded,and then calculated the percentage of facial nerve amplitude loss,all statistical data was analyzed using SPSS 19.0 software.Result:1.Before the treatment,the baseline data of all patients was statistically analyzed.There were statistically no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05),suggesting the comparability of the two groups.2.Through the treatment of idiopathic facial palsy,penetrating acupuncture method group and conventional acupuncture group,after three courses,the scores in each scale and MCV examination were significantly improved,with statistical significance(P<0.01),indicating that both treatments were effective.3.After the treatment,there was a significant difference between the two groups in the total effective rate(P<0.01).The total effective rate was 93.33%in the treatment group and 86.67%in the control group.By comparison,the total effective rate in the group of penetrating acupuncture was higher than that of the conventional acupuncture group.Conclusion:1.For patients with idiopathic facial palsy,facial penetration combined with electroacupuncture and conventional acupuncture with electroacupuncture both had obvious effects.2.The effect of penetrating acupuncture in treating idiopathic facial palsy was remarkable.It was better than that in the group of conventional acupuncture.
