Objective: To investigate the clinical characteristics and prognostic factors of idiopathic facial palsy in order to improve the clinical treatment effect and reduce the sequelae. Methods: Clinical data of 308 patients with IFP from 2010-01 to 2014-12. To analyze the clinical characteristics of idiopathic facial palsy, and to determine the correlation factors of the prognosis of idiopathic facial palsy by multi factor Logistic regression analysis. Results: 1 308 cases of idiopathic facial paralysis patients:male 164(53%) ? females144(47%). Age: 17-84 years old, average 53+18.2, <40(18%), 40-60(65%), >51(17%).Acute onset 290(94%), subacute onset 18(6%), Frown laborious 295(96%), eyelid closure weakness 304(99%), close not 223(72%), nasolabial fold change shallow 300(99%), oral commissure 265(86%), drum gills leaked 270(88%), anterior tongue2/3 taste loss 109(35%),hyperacusis 23(7%); 210 cases were cured(68.2%);bequeath sequela in 98 cases(31.8%).Facial muscle dysfunction 98(32%), hemifacial spasm 43(14%), left synkinesis 15(5%), the crocodile tears syndrome 9(3%), hemifacial atrophy 6(2%). 2 Of poor prognosis group and good prognosis group than in the age of onset of disease, type of damaged segment, poor glycemic control in diabetic patients, high NLR value, hypertriglyceridemia, there are differences in the timing of treatment and treatment methods(P < 0.05).Conclusion: 1 Patients with idiopathic facial palsy, slightly more than men, mainly in young and middle-aged, mostly for acute onset, mainly in the face of peripheral facial paralysis, some patients may have taste disorders, hearing amplification and other symptoms. The after treatment most prognosis is better, some patients appear different degrees of sequela, such as facial motor function, hemifacial spasm, in conjunction with sports, crocodile tears syndrome and hemifacial atrophy. 2 High age, incidence of facial nerve injury, type of injury, damaged section, blood glucose control in patients with diabetes, high NLR, high blood triglyceride, treatment time and treatment method are independent risk factors for the prognosis of idiopathic facial palsy.
