Content:This research describes Zhang jingyue's academic thoughts in JingYueQuanshu,summarizes the understandings of the ancient TCM doctors for head facial and five-sense diseases,and make a dialectical classification and analysis for it,then focus on the 94 formulas which is classified by eight-method to summarize,conclude,and discuss.Then we can get a conclusion that can be used in the clinic treatment,help the doctors expand new thinking,provide theoretical foundations for practice.Methods:This article uses the literature analysis,the statistical analysis,the indyction research methods,choose the 94 formulas which is treated to the head facial and five-sense diseases in JingYueQuanshu,then we make a detailed explanation for it,summarize the causes of the diseases and how.Which is followed,we use the TCM theory to explore the characteristics of identification and treatment.Results:According to the analysis we make for the head facial and five-sense diseases,we can get a conclution towards the causes of diseases,the combination and the characteristics:Zhangjingyue thought that the head facial and five-sense diseases always caused by fire,however he thought that yuanqi deficiency also can cause it.It can not be concluded Imprudently,he learned the methods from NeiJing to warm yang and tonify yin to treat the head facial and five-sense diseases.He always treated the head facial and five-sense diseases to tonify or to cold it,he also tonifies to treat the fire pattern,aiming to take the place of clear.He classified the fomulas in eight-method,treated mainly in three ways,that is tonify,cold,and change.Zhang payed attention to the processing of medicinals,and he used indiscriminately of Rehmannia,they always have a collocation with qi-regulating and blood-activating medicine.He prefered the pellets,and noticed the time that we take medicine is quite important.Towards the pain of eyes and tooth,Zhang used the drops and external applied medicine to assist the decoction.Medicine pair is quite important to him.
