Clinical Observation Of Shugan Huatan Sanjie Fang Therapy In Treatment Of Late Stage Breast Cancer

[Objectives]To observe the clinical effect by using ShuGan HuaTan SanJie Fang together with XT regimen in the treatment of the late stage breast cancer.[Methods]This research compiled 60 cases of late stage breast cancer patients.The data is collected from Heilongjiang University of Chinese medicine hospital oncology department,including late stage breast cancer patients from Jan 2015 till Oct 2017.60 patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group.The control group only using XT regimen,which was only give Docetaxel 75mg/m2 intravenous drip(d1);Capecitabine 950mg/m2,twice a day after meal.(d1-14);The patient from the treatment group beside given the same treatment as the control group,this group of patient additionlly took ShuGan HuaTan SanJie Fang 150ml/time,tweice a day,21 days for a course,and then rest for 7 days before next course of treatment.The two groups of patients took the same symptomatic and supportive treatment,without taking any other anticancer drugs.Recorded the changes of two groups of patients for the clinical symptom score,KPS,TCM symptom,Tumour Marker and side effect.The research was comparing the differences of efficacy between the treatment and control group by analyzing the mention trends.[Results]1.Treatment effect on tumour size:After treatment,the both groups effective value was 10.00%and 6.67%.The percentage of stability for the treatment group was 83.33%and 73.3%.However,no statistical significance between both groups(P>0.05).2.KPS reading:both group reported significant changes on KPS reading(P<0.05).The KPS for treatment group was 83.3%and control group was 66.7%both reading has statistical significance(P<0.05).3.Treatment effect diagnosed via TCM:after treatment,effectiveness for the treatment group was 86.7%and control group was 66.7%both reading has statistical significance(P<0.05).The treatment effect before and after for the both group has statistical significance(P<0.05)but only compare the effect after treatment both group no statistical significance(P>0.05).Single symptom like fullness in chest and hypochondrium and fatigue have statistical significance(P<0.05).4.Tumour markers:The Tumour markers(CEA and CA153)before and after treatment for the both group have statistical significance(P<0.05)but only compare the effect after treatment both group have no statistical significance(P>0.05).5.Incidence of side effect:the difference between both group have no statistical significance(P>0.05).[Conclusions]1.ShuGan HuaTan SanJie Fang together with XT regimen;will help late breast cancer patients to stabilize the size of tumours,relieved clinical symptom,improve patient life quality and reduce the level of tumour maeker.2.ShuGan HuaTan SanJie Fang together with XT regimen;will improve the patient clinical symptom,good in enhanced the status of the patient body functions.3.ShuGan HuaTan SanJie Fang obviously will no increase any incidence of side effect of XT regimen;increase the success rate of XT regimen and no significant poison effect.
