Clinical Study On Treatment Of Gouty Arthritis Intermission With Acupuncture Combined With Thread Moxibustion Of Zhuang

Objective: The clinical observation and evaluation of acupuncture combined with thread moxibustion of Zhuang and Western medicine benzbromarone in patients with gouty arthritis in intermission stage can provide new ideas and methods for the clinical treatment of patients with gouty arthritis in the intermittent period.Methods: Sixty-two patients with gouty arthritis were randomly divided into two groups according to the random digital table method.Among them,30 cases in the treatment group were treated with acupuncture combined with thread moxibustion of Zhuang.In the control group,30 cases were treated with benzbromarone.The acupuncture points of the treatment group were Zusanli(ST 36),Yiling Quan(SP 9),Sanyinjiao(SP 6),Ganshu(BL 18),Pishu,(BL 20)Shenshu(BL 23)and Ashi point.After acupuncture,plum-blossom points were taken at the swollen site of the joint to be treated with thread moxibustion of Zhuang,treated once every other day,10 times as a course of treatment,with an interval of 3 days between the two courses,for a total of three courses.The control group was treated with oral sodium bicarbonate tablets.benzbromarone tablets were given orally,50 mg a day,once a day,breakfast,20 days as a course of treatment,two courses of treatment interval of 3 days,a total of 3 courses of treatment.The patients before and after treatment of blood uric acid,TCM symptoms score,gout attack frequency and clinical efficacy after treatment were evaluated and analyzed.Result:(1)Both methods can reduce blood uric acid,TCM symptom score and gout attack frequency.There were significant differences between the two groups after treatment.The scores of TCM symptoms were P<0.05,The blood uric acid and the frequency of gout attack were P<0.01,which suggested that acupuncture combined with thread moxibustion of Zhuang could reduce blood uric acid,TCM syndromes and attack frequency in patients with gouty arthritis intermission.The total effective rate of acupuncture combined with thread moxibustion of Zhuang group was 96.7,and that of simple western medicine group was 86.7.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),which suggested that acupuncture combined with thread moxibustion of Zhuang had better clinical efficacy in treating gouty arthritis in the intermittent period than that of benzamarone.During the intermittent treatment of gouty arthritis,The adverse reactions in the treatment group were less than those in the control group(P<0.05),which indicated that acupuncture combined with thread moxibustion of Zhuang was more safe than benzbromalon.Conclusion:Acupuncture combined with thread moxibustion of Zhuang can effectively reduce the concentration of blood uric acid in patients with gouty arthritis,relieve the symptoms and signs of the patients,reduce the frequency gouty arthritis attacks,and have no obvious adverse reactions.It shows that acupuncture combined with thread moxibustion of Zhuang therapy is safe and effective,and it is worth popularizing in clinic.
